Props to Jupiter and everyone who made top 8, was sometimes fun to watch.

On another note I went 4-2 in which one guy wanted his picture taken with me after I won and another guy raged so hard he said he was going to quit. Also the fact that I was able to win 4 games this tournament and last tournament beat Darth Arma and Jrosa 2-0 while never practicing and doing day 1 combos… isn't really a good look for this game. This is like torture waiting for mk10. NRS pls hurry

Jupiter is awesome. But the reason you state he didn't get out of pools merely emphasizes my point: MMH has so far not been the force many predicted, as evidenced by NEC, where good players were able to deal with him.

Again, what I said was by no means meant to be a diss against Jupiter.
I'll say what I said around NEC time again here; it's unfair to put an evaluation of a character solely on the shoulders of one guy's performance at one tournament.

The fact that Winners' Finals here was MMH vs. MMH should say enough.

The character was introduced late in the game, is still developing, and as more tech is brought to light others will start to use it and benefit from it. I don't think NEC was evidence of anything; and as far as I'm concerned this is just the beginning.

Yes. It says that he's a great character used by great players. Any other conclusions I'm supposed to draw?

PS: Why is the "unfair to assess a character based on one tournament" argument only works when the character fails to deliver? Aren't you doing the same with the above argument? The character delivered in a tournament (obviously, and the player using him too), and suddenly this "says enough"? Why doesn't it say enough that MMH was nowhere to be found at NEC and was dealt with at DTN? MMH's tools "say enough." He's obviously a great character and it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. But I'm sorry if I think there isn't enough evidence that he's this unstoppable character who will rule over this game and REO will be bodying people free. The winners final of some weekend EC regional isn't enough for me to make that assessment.

I don't even understand what the argument is anymore. Is anyone here saying MMH is NOT good? So what's the deal?

Dave says a lot of stupid things and he's hella stubborn about everything else but I will stand by this post

I too was asked to present these MMH who are placing and GODDAMNT I told all of u to allow them time and that the MMH time is coming because I'm sorry MMH takes more brain cells and time to develop then braindead characters

Suck it naysayers

Congrats to Jupiter and Reo (who doesn't practice anymore but gets 3rd, hold that community)

Next community on blast: flash community
Has there ever been naysayers about MMH being very good? I'm honestly asking... I don't think he was ever downplayed.

No, it's just not a very good look for the player you beat. Trust me, the players who "don't even play this game" are not doing too good. Just ask your buddy CD Jr.

And wait, you beat Arma? WTF? :p

Still training...
According to Joe Kruty (the RG guy who helped run it) we had over 40 entrants.
45 to be exact.

People were forced to leave building and they threatened to unplug all stations.
The fire marshal was actually there seeing the TOs get nowhere asking the people to move, so things kind of escalated.

Who won KI?

top 4?
1. Justin Wong
2. Shin Palo
3. Rico Suave
Don't know 4

Yeah for some reason smash community has a huge emphasis on casuals and people end up playing casuals where there is supposed to be a tournament match. thats why they kicked out everyone who isn't in a tournament.

Hold that 500 smash players with your irrelevant ass game! Kappa
says the same community who can't be on time for "majors" finals, hardly scraping numbers (at locals and majors) the smash community peaked for years (over 10 years btw).

irrelevant? naive much...

And this whole "Injustice: is it a legit major or not - number downplaying" discussion is hilarious. Same boat as MK sooner than later heh.

My MMH prediction of upcoming dominance back in sep/oct was questioned and I said wait till Nec, I was a little off on timing

I do admit he isn't a problem though , like he isn't a kabal or anything but I said he is top in the game and I feel like that was questioned and laughed at when this character dominance w his tools was so blatant from his release that I don't see how anyone could question his superiority

I was asked the absolute worst FGC question....."where are the characters results" this question is abysmal . I never knew kenshi was mid tier in August 2011 and magically #2 in feb lol

Again when I made some statements about him I overreacted making him seem unbeatable and he's very beatable but I also was asked where is my proof of how good he is. I said give it some time and the time is now .

It does suck though that to my knowledge there is only 1 tourney MMH people should fear . Reo retired and blak felow doesn't leave his basement and rebelo has issues leaving or something.
I think Jupiter will do the job though but expect future MMH to catch up

Ie: sonic fox, king and maybe myself
