Sometimes its "band aided" by using the usbs in the back and cronus in the front... but I've heard people like RiBBz22 who had their cronus just literally freeze up the port when playing at home

That stuff about destroying controllers and controller ports is wild though; does that really happen?

We have never had it destroy a controller port/controller yet...

Shock and I believe that it does overheat the xbox(usb hub) a lot, and thats when controls start getting fucked up.

It's also SYSTEM DEPENDENT, I'm pretty sure that on the slims it fucks with more, on the older phat ones not as much.

Anyway Martian I think loses to odd balls characters as well as some top tier characters. People need to get real and find out who the real top characters in the game are. I won’t say here cause I don’t want everyone running to that or those characters.

Martian Manhunter will probably end up being in a tier of his own. Alongside another character.

xTokki has been flawless for me every since I removed my PS2 pad's analog sticks.

But I think part of this issue is Sony and Microsoft wanting to keep their tech proprietary, which prevents 3rd parties from making a properly-supported device based on real specs/protocols.

I had that etokki shit and sold BOTH of them. I felt a delay in both. Also I don't believe they make a ps3 to xbox converter unless I am mistaken. It just seems like this is more complicated than it should be.

I own Injustice on the PS3, Xbox, and PC. PS3 is easily the worst version. Slowdown, netplay, input delay, etc. After playing the xbox I can't believe I put up with it for so long. PC version is awesome but there is nobody to play.

For once I actually agree with carl on something, stop underrating Cyrax people.

The MK tierlist in the community's eyes:
1. Kabal
2. Kenshi
3. Kung Lao
4. Sonya
5. Cyrax

When it's actually more of something like this:
1. Kabal(Obviously)
2. Kenshi/Cyrax(One you can never touch and the other you never want him to touch you)
3. Freddy(Massively underrated, you people are all mad for not playing this character)
4. Sonya(Good at everything, best at being in your face)
5. Kung Lao(Good, but he does have holes. Albeit very small holes, but at the highest level of play they matter.

It's not just you. The xbox version in general has slow down on some stages as well.

In my personal opinion I don't disrespect or hate the game its just not my type of game. I liked tekken 2/3 and SC2 but not into 3d fighters much.

I play KI3 for the same reasons I play MK and SF games, they were the 3 main fighters I played back in the 90's.

I know from experience. When you try to do combos as the stage is breaking a part in the background as it usually does it causes major slow down and makes your inputs drop

i second this, i agree with PL and btw when at comicon last year, hector himself told me that stages such as metropolis lag on ps3 and not the xbox. He stated that a few stages had frame drops on the ps3 version.

Color me satisfied, four coinciding opinions from differing sources is enough evidence to elicit a change from me, one of which being a developer.

Granted I should have stated from an offline-play perspective. I could care less about how online functions. I go into that mode expecting for it to mess up in well... any online game from Marvel vs Capcom to League of Legends to Phantasy Star Online and everything in-between.

I think its clear at this point that no one has a fucking clue who top dog is. Every "top" player seems to gets a chub writing a big elaborate post about who is or isn't or the state of the community these days, but all that has come of it so far is a bunch of blow ups, shitty threads and hurt feelings. The fact of the matter is, since the patch dropped there is simply no relevant tournament data to sustain any of the wild claims of our top players.

Injustice needs more play, more streams, and less flowery write ups by people who condemned it just a month ago.

DOA is 3d. Doesn't matter what combo system it shares with a 2d game. It's 3d. The speed of the frames are different, the spacing is different, jumping, yomi, a lot of things are different. It's not hypocrisy to like KI and not like DOA because the reason might be as simple as 2d vs 3d. If DOA had zero 3d elements it might be more popular. Have you ever asked that? Why don't they turn DOA into 2d? Most 2d players prefer 2d fighting games. 3d fighting games aren't even popular anymore.

3d fighters were a half gimmick. They were something new. The graphics were awesome when they first came out, and so was the degree of the realism (at the time) and the fighting styles, but why aren't they as popular now? The graphics get better and better in games in general, but why have 3d fgs hit a graphical wall? Until Tekken (or another 3d fighter) takes a leap and makes their games more (realistic[edit]) more exciting in movement and appearance, they will never regain their popularity back. People forget, part of the allure of 3d fighters, when they were originally released, was that they moved more realistically than 2d, and you could see more detail in the fighters and the arenas. Problem is, none of that stuff has improved enough to make them more exciting to watch, better or equal visuals exist in other genres of games, and even though there are some stunning shots in 3d games they are now plagued by the uncanny valley, which didn't exist when the graphics were simpler. People just aren't impressed by the graphics of 3d fighters anymore, which wasn't the case when they first came out. Compare that to the graphics of KI or SF or Marvel, which aren't as slick as VF or DOA or Tekken, but they're more popular games.

And as for the game play itself, think about it like this: How many people watch judo in the olympics vs how many people watch swimming? Swimming or running? That's the "excitement gap" problem with 3d fighting games vs 2d fighting games.

But technically tekken is the best fighting game ever. There is almost nothing to complain about. and if you just take the time to learn it, other games like mk will look like complete shit to you. And its exciting to watch, especially ttt2, if you know whats going on on the screen. But i get what u were trying to say.
