The Reason GA's Arrows do 0.1% on chip, 1% on hit.

I don't know why people take it so personal when there's a disagreement on something related to this game. I think I'm just being optimistic here and the game is young.

I tag rev0lver because he's a lex player that I play a lot. I think the match is in lex's favor but Arrow has plenty of tools to win.

I admit that Revolver's opinion about GA vs Lex is different from my view that Lex mops up GA, but I don't agree with you that he is of the exact same opinion as you: He says that he thinks it's in Lex's favor and would have been 7-3 Lex if it wasn't for the quick fire rate of arrows. You also make general statement:

counter zoning is good. his trait is good. fire arrows are good. ice arrow is good

Maybe his raw arrows are somewhat useful against Lex (I don't like the "trade" of having to shoot 100 arrows to keep Lex in check just to miss time/miss space/have your opponent read you a couple of times to even up the damage. Since raw arrows do no damage and chipp and a lot of them are required in the matchup, I feel like a lot more correct guesses are required from the GA). But you make a general statement, and there are a lot of matchups where his arrows are much more useless. Fire arrows grants you 3 stocked projectiles, 8% on hit and then you have to deal with wake ups. I don't really feel that's good when you can react to an overhead arrow easily. Ice arrow is good I agree.

Sorry, but the one thing GA players are not allowed to complain about is backdashes. That belongs to us Scorpion players.

For a guy that shoots arrow you expect him to have a decent zoning game. I love playing as GA but sometimes I wish they would buff his arrows. ALL OF IT.

I think this is what happened:
- When they first made the character, arrows used to do a lot of damage.
- Since it shuts down a lot of characters, they nerfed his arrows to death.
- The whole character design is good, but since he does such a low damage it's not really worth it to play it that way, even though that's the way he was intended to be played like.

It covers zero ground. zero. He might as well of just released block and let me hit him.

Cossners right.The damage on arrows is dumb.A guy can zone you the whole match with regular arrows just so the clock could run out first.I have noticed it does stop you from zoning ga so he can get in on you.I have sat there the whole match with the opponent just zoning with regular arrows,and let me tell you he probably shoots 3,000 during the whole match.A little more damage on thos3 arrows and his zoning would be on Parr with the rest.

You know guys, I thought the exact same way.

Arrows are made to stop zoners and to create pressure to get in, not to zone.

But then I checked the other characters, characters that have tracking projectiles as fast as GA's arrows, like Nightwing. And then I saw he did WAY more damage. And he didn't even have to load anything!
What's the point having a "fast projectile" (22 frames) if you get outzoned by everyone?
You can't throw arrows at KF, or Raven, or Aquaman, or Superman.

Imagine every character has the equivalent of Fire Arrows, permanently, and they can throw it faster than GA.

(For people who don't play GA, it's frustrating to do all these shenanigans just to load arrow safely and then wasting it when people block it getting what, no chip or .7 chip?)

or maybe they had enough sense to know that attack should not do too much damage. harley's guns are the same way. they only do 4% on hit, 1% something chip, and they hit high. there are some dumbos whining they should do more damage and hit mid but no one understands it's just supposed to be a pesky move.

The arrows do not need to be buffed...the low crouch buff was enough. The chip is fine.

I agree with NRS on all of the damage/chip that the arrows do.

If you are trying to "chip" somebody out...Hurricane bow, 5% chip.

Say you're up close, 22 low arrow, d1 hurricane bow, can't interrupt it.

Also, I do this a lot. If I need the last bit of damage, I will pull out elect arrow and wait for them to panic jump, if you have decent reactions, you can match their jump and punish them accordingly.

He's not really a "zoner", which I'm thankful for because when it comes down to it, I can't zone to save my life.
