because even d.1~hook charge requires meter for it ;_;

another setup would be F3, D2 into a delayed Hook Charge, but like I said in the post above, you're sacrificing a lot of damage.

Well, you kinda can. You can get a crossup air dive if you jump forward and do an instant air dive, non-crossup if you neutral jump and do an instant dive. It's kinda risky though, lol.

You're at - frames on block, not +. Plus they can wakeup right through it. I don't know, I'd have to use it in a match to see if it's really good. I haven't used it yet, so it just sounds like a funny mix-up to me.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure everyone thought it was -10, seems like that's not the case. And 113 may not be an overhead, but at least it's +6 on block, so it's not totally useless.

Do any of you have problems using MB with certain characters like Lobo while using the default control settings on an Xbox 360 controller? I seem to have issues not having it occur even though I press the input. My controller was bought new ~2 months ago, so I don't think that's it, especially since it seems to work fine on all of my other games. Also, I have negative edge turned off too.

That's not even that bad. You know whats' more broken? D1 xx MB F3 charged, dash cancel before it hits, Czar Toss.

Unless doomsday is just mashing d1 which hits from full screen. I've tried that against my training partner =/ but anyone else, lol

Party Crasher (Air, d+3) is safe, but at severe disadvantage, probably around -5. Ive never been hit when I just tryin to block after doing it.

If the opponent blocks it on his head its punishable from my experience.

I want to try the new and improved Lobo out but I'm scared to with that pushblock bug it's annoying enough as Scorpion, I feel Lobo would be affected by it much more.

Sorry about that. I don't have many issues with inputting mb. Lately I've been having a slight issue getting mb to activate when trying to input mb hook charge, but I think I'm just used to the old timing of the slower hook charge. All I can say is hit training mode a bit more to really get it down.

I have - I can get it to work more often in practice mode, but it's still an issue. I've tried hitting MB before, during, & after the input; I've tried tapping it lightly, I've tried smashing it as hard as I can, I've tried holding it down, I've tried tapping it repeatedly. It never seems to want to come out except at random occurrences.... And yes, I'm pretty good at watching my meter consumption so that's not it either. I've even swapped the controller's settings to no avail!

I hate not being able to get the MB to always work when I want it to - it affects my game. For example, if I want to do a MB hook charge upon wake-up, I won't always get the 2 hits of armor to vastly improve the attack & end up getting knocked down mid-stride. I have a similar issue with my main, Lex Luthor - I can't seem to MB his gravity pull which is nigh on essential for extending his combos.
