Top 3 Rushdown & Zoners?

his projectiles plus his trait mainly, it recovers hellafast. His zod charge is a great whiff punish and easily catches jumpers.

zod and batman are by far the best zoners if you cannot counter-zone them, both almost impossible to get in on with zod outzoning more characters.

as far as overall zoning

1.zod

honorable mention deahthstroke and mmh, mmh might move up, deathstroke is the hardest to counter-zone... black adam is arguably top 3.

as far as rushdown, as in getting in + mixup/lockdown

1. flash
2. batman
3. wonderwoman
4. killer frost (tod character)

honorable mention: martian manhunter, catwoman, green arrow, AQMAN

its strange because i have never being called a spammer for using Zod online,,, but get it all the time when i pick BA

yeah i never hear of a Zod spamming yet hes been described as one of the best zoners i might have to look into his zoning more and see what the fuss is about

Batman has better rushdown then Catwoman along with extremely good zoning which just makes her such an irrelevant character

He doesn't spam because he doesn't have a single move thats overwhelmingly the center of his zoning gameplan. All his zoning tools are good and handle different stuff. Thats why he's so good at it. The things about his zoning options that stand out to me are.

  • fast pistol
  • air zod balls
  • slow projectiles
  • projectiles juggle and lead to combo
  • trait plus zoning makes it hard to move
He's really just amazing at space control and beating one of his zoning tools doesn't conquer his zoning game as he has multiple ways to stay out and control your options.

Someone I suspect will become a good space control character if not a pure zoner like Zod is Martian Manhunter. The spark coupled with the summoned shot from above it is nasty.

dude bane is insane now! not in an over powered way but i have no idea what to do vs him when hes running at me with full venom spamming special attacks

lol, that hasn't changed at all.

MB b.3 is amazing, now he can whiff punish you for up to 56% or cancel into it for up to over 70%

VU MB being +13 gives him an armored shoryuken that disrespects cross ups and guarantees d.1 pressure.

Having the best unclashable damage helps too. :p

Bane was always in top five rushdown in the game, and after the patch I feel he is exactly where RYX put him. I feel like the flaws he has have an easy way to get around, but the execution and risk it requires is more than any of the banes around are currently willing to do.

Also @R3CK3Dx lets get another set soon(a long one if you have the time), I really need to improve my dash spacing and work on implementing things Wetdoba and I see as critical for high level bane play. Too many people who dont really know the MU let me get away with dumb shit that effects my play in the long run and you never do that, ahah

I really don't agree that Batman is a top rushdown character after what NRS did with his trait. Don't get me wrong, he's still pretty decent at it, just isn't TOP any longer in my eyes.

Not really, just requires you to not fuck up completely :p

IMO it's not too useful. Requires level 3 and you shouldn't be at level 3 from full screen lol
