Full screen isnt the only place you can be zoned lol, and in certain insistences you cant just block and dash(batman with bats out, cyborg using ianb). Its not just good against zoning, but regardless its a tool that nobody uses and I just like to assume its the execution that causes that and not good players disregarding a good tool

Too many people who dont really know the MU let me get away with dumb shit that effects my play in the long run and you never do that, ahah

Bane's not so much execution as he is the ability to read your opponent and footsie. He's all setups, punishes, and frame traps. The actual execution needed for his combos is some of the easiest in the game. I get by on just extending B23 over and over and then applying some wakeup traps. Execution heavy combos are more along what it takes to pull off good damage as GA using any arrow other than ice.

He's a fundamentalists character. Mike Ross would likely do alright with him if he came back IMO.

As much as I like raven and as good as she is ( she is really solid, she is a bit underrated but not many people use her) there are just characters that are better at controlling space.

mmh - orbs + aerial strike, ground strike
sinestro - overall specials + trait
zod - ovrall specials + trait.

Raven has great specials, and her pillars in trait are amazing but these 3 characters just have better zoning.
She is easily a top 5 pick. But top 3? No, I dont think so.

more or less because he does what Ares does except doesn't suck dick at it

uses his antizoning to make you sit still and let him throw shit on the screen for a little bit, he builds pretty good meter and it sets him up for frame traps

Yea you can def make an argument that his anti zoning makes his zoning better. But I mean his zoning tools alone are average

Dude Martian Manhunter puts an orb up in front of you and then he pulls down from the sky a projectile that stuffs your jump. You dont get past that easily and he can set that up on top of you after every knockdown or moment of hesitation. He can setup the orb as a proximity mine as well and his trait + force push are great for pushing you back out into this mess and he's got other shit as well.

Its not exactly bullets flying horizontally like Zod or sinestro but that is one helluva Zoning game right there.
