Question Lobo's Oct. 1st Upgrades

I just picked up lobo (i HATE him as a character but hes super fun to be lol) and i think my favorite thing to happen is a combo 2 nuke shells + higher damage mb f/b 3...that means if done right at the end of a match hell do high damage that's unclashable

I think this buffs are actually gonna allow his normals to shine as well, i dont see alot of people talking about his standing 3 which is really good, put that with trait you can probably lock people in the corner. The hook got a serious upgrade though, this is gonna put zoners on the frits.

I wonder how the damage scaling will be if any because he is gonna hit hard, kind of like my counter part shazam :)

Even without the trait, standing 3~hook charge/low hook is going to be the tits. But yes I agree with everything you said.

Personally, the only thing I ever found lacking playing as Lobo was the fact that the dude had NO wakeup. Getting shut down as Lobo was awful. Now that he has a wake up, my opponents have to bait or risk getting a face full of hook charge. Also the two nuke shells are pretty much my Viagra as of the updates release lol. Lobo already hit like truck, now he is gonna hit like an ssj4 young Arnold Schwarzenegger *Grinch smile*

Lobo, the new zoner among us. His changes are so smexy though, 28% shotgun damage at any random time (did they say full-screen!!!!) is gonna make people question trying to throw projectiles at him.

I dont think it was fullscreen. Looked about raven squeeze range give or take a step.

I can definitely see ending combos with F21 xx trait load and trying to snipe the opponent for a chip victory. Did they show off the range of Back 3 with trait loaded? I imagine it'll be way easier to get an unclashable ender for our combos with this buff. I'm pretty excite for tomorrow, going to be interesting seeing how Lobo fairs in the patch.

The range increase is only for traited pump shots. And im spitballing on the range but somewhere between max lanterns might and ravens squeeze is about right.

You guys are exaggerating the range. I'm playing with the patch right now and the nuclear shots hit just outside of low hook range.

His damage isn't as crazy as people think. Grundy can do 52% or more with one bar. There are characters in the game that can do meterless 40% or more. Lobo gets zoned a lot. Sure he has more damage than before, but you're still going to eat damage trying to get in.

As it should be. Lobo goes toe to toe with Supes in the comics. From the games standpoint: Don't we deserve it?
It certainly seems to help, I'm not getting lamed out by zoning in my matches today, I just have to get used to not trying to get in for rushdown all the time because mid screen is an ok place to be too now.
