Lol at WW top 5 and the other guy said top 3 after the patch. Foxy you are GDLK but when it comes to match ups you lack knowledge because players over there aren't as good as the ones over here. History is repeating itself again. You are the same guy who said rain was viable, that Sonya rings go under kabal iagb(lol) that kabal and Kung Lao beats kabal etc lol. How about you look at ALL THE flaws WW has and all the holes before you start saying how she beats x character. You are very good at finding what's good in a character but not finding what's bad about them and that's where you fail. WW is now top 10 at best and will stay like that post patch. Charliemurphy you are right about the character don't worry she is not this GDLK character the Europeans make her out to be.

Not so long ago, the majority of the US players didnt even know what WW was capable of. Foxy and Nivek opened your eyes on that... The only flaw WW has is that she doesnt have a full screen projectile, cause if she did, she would be OP... What she lacks in full screen projectiles, she gets back with great mobility and range in her attacks... Saying she has holes, and those holes being she doesnt have a full screen projectile is ignorant.

Her parry alone is scary as fuck, when used correctly. And the fact that it can be used between strings to punish them for a shit load of damage should be taken into account... WW players still havent taken advantage of that. When they do, then come talk to me and say she sucks or that she has "holes"...

Her OTG's are much more difficult than Superman's to block against, plus the fact she has 50/50 mix ups after them, if her dive punch is blocked.

Her mix ups are safe and lead to over 40% dmg meterless...

The range on her attacks is excellent.

Her mobility will be one of the best in the game, especially after the nerf BA will get after the patch...

What you dont realize is that the top tiers got nerfed and WW remained totally untouched. Now, the only one who will give her real trouble will probably be Aquaman cause of his trait mostly and perhaps MMH and Zod (although those two are highly debatable.)

Those are not 5 "bad" MU's (imo they are even MU's). Those are 3 and all are highly winnable.

The only history i see repeated here is you crying again about IGAU.

Definitely does. Batman, MMH, ZOD, aquaman, GL

I wouldnt call them "bad", but maybe not as good as others.

GL is the worst for me personally, as I am very aggressive and his lift is annoying.

Batman is full combo punished from EVERY block string (except for B23 which is getting nerfed) he has the moment he touches you. Just duck and 11. That and you can sweep under all his projectiles and traits unless he throws MB batarangs. He can also be AA'd in both stances.

What do you mean, 11 spin or something? Can you do that fast enough, batman doing his string, block low, and then do a 11 spin? Or do you have to do d12 tiaratossmb to full combo punish?

Same way you could punish Jaxs F413 in MK9, block the first hit, mash 11 and stand on the 2nd hit.
That way you can get a full combo and dont need meter to punish.

AM can check her outside of her effective range at all times.
It is just a fact.
You always have to chase him.

If her normal tiarra came back as fast as the MB one.... yeah.... i'd agree that she's numero uno.

But the way the game is... even with all her great tools...... she has to chase a majority of the cast to even touch them properly.

That is a problem.

Are you guys aware of her shield stance?
Do you know what its for?

If AM wants to check you from anywhere on the screen, you can check him back.
If he is making you chase him, he's giving you free punishes from max range SB distance, and a free shield toss check from 1 dash in.
You can throw that sheild faster than he can do FTDs, even on block since its only -2. So you'll force him to duck or jump, which she has answers for in SS.

Well you can say that, but theres still no American WoWo player optimizing, not like I even see anybody hitconfirming properly into super yet. Or at least comboing off her B2, using shield stance, proper use of the iadg mindgames, midscreen 'vortexes', position swapping etc.

Not saying I'm perfect but my WoWo is definitely alot more developed than any US WoWo player, and you AT LEAST need my tool set to compete with her. Goomba is probably closest but I'm sure even he knows how much he's not using.

Basically, if theres still stuff that YOU GUYS can learn from me. Your WoWo isn't the best possible representative. Cause I know I'm not complete, so theres no way in hell yours can be.

You might also want to elaborate on why you struggle so much, rather than presenting all of your arguments like this

I had just started to dig in with this stance and then they announced the big patch and I quit.

I wasn't even aware of the midscreen combo you posted to create the splat into 50/50 wall game.

The thing that I really do struggle with AM is him just walking backwards and waiting for me to do something. I wasn't really talking much about FTD, it was more about his rangy OH string and his b3.

I do agree that no one is using her in that "proper" mode. Mainly because you have to hash out the MU in both stances looking for the best answers.
GL was a pain until I started using SS. Then he became so easy to deal with.

I'm interested to know how you get off the ground if someone does knock you down in SS.

Honestly,

her being top 3 top 5.... top whatever doesn't matter.

She has the ability to grind out all her matches, she just doesn't have a SINGLE thing that works all the time.... ala f23 or a b13.

I agree after spending time with her, that you have to know the character you're fighting. Some of them are the "same".
but if you don't know which stance is better to be in.... then you'll struggle (like myself) in her 5-5's and 4-6's.

I'm hopin this patch will let the forum strictly worry about grinding these MU's with tech, and not really worrying about where she ranks compared to someone else.

I know what MU's I consider "bad" and need that guidance from someone who see's something I don't.

I'd say the only thing I don't do well enough is iadg, I still struggle with the input itself... that and play to my best in tournament cause I still get nerves lol. You don't see me use SS a lot mostly out of preference. Oh and I don't use parry as much as I could but I'm working on that

I'm not making rash decisions.... just spreadin the knowledge I have.

I don't really care if you are the worth player in the world.... if you see something I don't, it'll help.

I mean... i clearly thought I was doing iadg.... and i wasn't. I have a mental block when I fight AM, but I haven't grinded it out, and Foxy did give what he see's in the MU... which helps.

Thats really all I ask for. Even if I personally think a MU sucks, I don't need someone to tell me i'm stupid, just give advice. WW players typically are that way.

But she isn't the world beater peopel think she is. I doubt she "dominates" anyone in the game. She just has a toolset that lets her fight everyone on equal ground. You don't get that often.
