His wake-up isn't god awful but it's far from the best. His only wake-up worth mentioning from my experience is Push since it actually has some invulnerability frames and can afford you some breaking room. Still by itself it's just not a very scary move mostly because you can't seem to convert into good damage off it like, say, Killer Frost and Black Adam can theirs.Why did everyone say that MMH has no wake ups and whatever...he has one of the best wake ups in Injustice, if not the best....

I think people were only saying he has no wake-up in the early days when we were trying to teleport out of the corner. We quickly learned that was a bad idea since teleport is generally a terrible wake-up attack.

I'm honestly having a hard time finding any serious weaknesses with J'onn but at the same time, no tremendous strengths either. Like Green Lantern he's super well rounded but unlike GL he's not a two-dimensional flowchart character. I think that's why he's so fun and rewarding to play. He's got the tools to hang with everybody but you need to earn that win and play smart. God I love playing this guy.

I completely agree, but does that warrant the claim J'onn's wake-up is among the in the game? If multiple people say yes I'll have to try being more liberal with it and see how I do.Being full screen against mmh is a bad situation. His wake up is great as far as how it compliments his game.

Not like my opinion really matters in the grand scheme of things. MMH's at least has an invincible wake-up attack that can stop pressure. That in and of itself is good enough for it to be a viable alternative to blocking on wake-up. It's just in my opinion at the time is that an 8% damage wake-up attack that knocks the enemy clear away as far as they can go from you isn't quite as threatening as ones that result in big damage or a knockdown where you're close enough to work your own oki game. It's good, just not the best in my opinion.
Even though we disagree I can still where you're coming from though. Considering the primary way to deal with wake-up is bait and punish, having a wake-up with a hitbox that good that's also safe is pretty sweet. Reduces their option to bulldozing though it with armor.
