Ben Affleck cast as the new Batman in Man of Steel 2

I just always think it's a recipe for disaster to cast a very well-known actor as a superhero.

It just makes it really hard for me, and I'm sure a few others, to see the character and not the actor. Guys like Henry and Bale weren't TOO well known (at least not to me) when they showed up in costume, and as such it's easier to see Bruce Wayne as Batman and not Affleck as Batman. I kind of wish they had gone with someone unknown, but if it's a Batman VS Superman movie and not a Batman AND Superman movie, then I already have no expectations. I'll wait for it to come out, but to me, a "vs" in the title is a bigger red flag than an Affleck in the suit.

Superman vs Batman and vice-versa is NOT the title,was just a filler. Snyder and Goyer are reportedly still working the official title and says Snyder is leaning on World's Finest and Public Enemies

Very intelligent posting by pig. The only miss cast I can think of by Snyder is the 2nd silk spectre in watchmen. That's 1off the top of my head. That's it. I have a lot of faith in affleck and cavil and the rest of the mos franchise. I am having a wait and see approach. It has the potential to be something great and don't forget that.

Hmm. I wasn't even alive in the 80s and Batman is fine to me, sure the Prince song pushes it a bit lol but to me it's still really good. Will give it another watch when I have time. Last watched it last year and it didn't bug me.

George Clooney was an awful Batman anyways, since when is Batman a wisecracking smug douche, which is how clooney plays most of his roles, which usually works the movies he's cast in, but it's not Batman.

Nolan's NOT in the driver's seat this time folks!! He's not directing,writing or even a producer on this Superman/Batman film. Which is also all the better for having Affleck on board,you know.....the two-time Oscar winning actor,writer,director

That's really not the point here. It's not that nobody knows who Affleck is, it's how terrible of an actor he is. At least Bale was really good in American Psycho and Machinist.

Daredevil had nothing to do with bad acting. That movie was terrible and acting couldn't have saved it. People think actors determine how good or bad something is that that is just so not true. SMH

Yea that movie was the shyt,they can still develop that kind of chemistry it's not too far off. Can play it that way in the midst of them still getting to know each other and only working together because of the situation at hand kind of thing
