i like how hawkgirl isnt really explored much to have more things considered.

sure faster recovery on mace toss is awesome, but thats only one small thing that is is fixable out of the other things she might need more out of. hawk thread has alot of things that make sense in what to tweek on her to fair her out better

The people who made this thread are clueless. They don't even know basic character knowledge or how character balance functions. Only THTB knows shit

For the HG MB Mace Charge being clashable... that is not going to happen. Changing this would affect all characters with multi-hitting MB specials across the board.

I remember on one of the first patches that fixed it so you couldn't clash Frost's regular Iceberg due to it being 2-hits. You literally could never use that move if your opponent had clash and more meter than you at the end of a match.

Hawkgirl's f3 needs to have slightly more forward range and the random animation that happens sometimes when you whiff a MB Air Downward Mace Charge is bullshit... that animation should only happen if the move hits.

The MB down mace animation happens when it's not done at max height. I agree, it shouldn't happen, though.

I wish more people would go on record saying when it comes to the overall metagame they still don't know shit. I know I can freely admit it, why can't others? Game still isn't fully developed yet

That boggles my mind. I may have put in suggestions, but that's just from my experiences, and I don't consider my experiences as any better than anothers. I'm still learning this game, just like others.

Only characters that "NEED"(keyword) buffs imo are Shazam, Lobo, Lex and Joker the rest just need minor tweaks with their gameplay or what not but nothing significant.People need to chill with this shit.Only Buff characters that freaking need it.

I don't care if I'm pro or not. These are the buffs Lobo needs to be viable:
-B+1,2 NEEDS to be jump canceable. Either give him this or make the startup of B+2, A LOT faster.
-BF+3 NEEDS to have that one hit of armor activate from the startup of the chain, to the end of the shoulder rush. The chain part has no armor and most of the times the MB bf+3 gets stuffed without even activating it's armor.
-Stackable trait. 3 at most.
- DB+2 needs to be less punishable. Not worth using it other to end combos.

Give him this. He's now viable and not top tier instantly.

Come on now "Nightwing: Decrease block adv of MB staff spin from +18 to +6" "Flash: Increase damage scaling during trait" "Superman: decrease overall meter gain and damage" Some of theses are just completely absurd. We REALLY need to focus on buffing characters with very limited tools such as shazam and bane. The only thing I think they really need to do with Superman is decrease the overall hitbox on his f23 so that it cannot hit after breath, but nerfing his damage and meter gain?!? I don't remember who stated in the comments that we should wait until all DLC char (unless they're broken AND I REALLY MEAN BROKEN) are released before we start nerfing people, but I completely agree with you. It would be better if it was after every four chars instead of all since we don't really know how many chars are coming. For a game that has only been out for four months, we should not have been through so many major patches.

Holy hell another one of these threads.... First off you are suggesting nerfs for the majority of the cast but then want all pre nerf stats to come back to Deathstroke? Oh that's right you main him if I recall correctly, get the hell out of here. As for Nightwing, since I play him, do not touch him on anything other than chip damage on meter burn staff spin.. maybe. If you are to stupid to pushblock than that is your own problem. If you have no meter to pushblock than you have poor meter management, at least in that matchup. Stop asking for nerfs/buffs, this is ridiculous now. The majority on this site are embarrassing begging for this shit.

They do, but that doesn't mean they're not always going to make the right decision on balance. That's no knock to them, just there might be things they don't see that we do. Of course, this can work both ways, though.

Its confusing and kind of depressing how the majority of people wouldn't even put Raven in their top15 list yet are justifying buffs for characters they find to be overall better and suggest Raven should stay the same.

There is such little representation for her outside of a few people who casually have her as a sidemain so she just gets ignored all the time. Her range game is good in a good handful of matchups so people assume she is without her own flaws. Its almost like because she is in the middle between great and horrible that she has become the middle child, doomed to be ignored and untouched by changes from her parents at NRS.

It's like people forget she exists.

I like how the disagreeing consensus of this thread is that "you don't know shit about my character, it's only been 4 months", but yet nerfing a completely mediocre character that abused a lack of matchup knowledge, had no damage, Kano-like startup on normals, and no safe threat without 3 bars after 2 weeks is justified community wide.

LBSH, unless this damage buff for Scorpion is that he does 33% on a single teleport, there's still no fundamental ideology with that character.

Flash I could agree with having less damage on trait options, but I doubt NRS will bother adjusting a character that's been buffed 3 times. It's hard been hard enough trying to piece together meta with his buffs already on top of how unplayable the PS3 version is.
