Not a Breakthrough, But Possibly Another Zod Glitch that Doesnt Matter

So now i have to go test every BNB on every character in the game to make sure i dont execute on my end like im supposed to only to get blocked and mopped up?

His escrima hitbox is larger then staff. He cannot duck a regular mace toss from hawkgirl in escrima, but he can in staff.

I actually don't see the point of this combo anyway because 22 mb groundblast does more damage and has a mixup/is +frames if you dont hutconfirm

If this is character specific then i believe that it could be intentional. Have you tried it against other big characters as well? For the record, both Grundy and CW have the most weird hit box in the game when they are crouching.

Perhaps it has to do with which MB version you use then? IIRC Zod has a fast one, a slow one and a medium speed version of it right? Have you tried all three?

It's a weird one, though. Like, it doesn't work not depending on character size. Lots of Zod things have this problem, like F21 xx [MB] zodballs third ball not connecting on certain people and taking away the B3 parts of the combo. It might whiff on Grundy and Sinestro, but it works fine on Doomsday and Batman. If they don't fix this, then I'll still play Zod for fun, but I'll go to Nightwing if I want to win the match.

its more about the fundamental problem of it all

You're right that combo isnt nearly as BNB worthy as f21u2 zn j3 zb 123 4

Yeah I found all these high damage 58% to 61% catwoman combos that won't work on half the cast. I don't like having to look in a notebook to see which combos I can use against who. Quan Rune Trap math was fun. This is not.

Please, its not a big deal. Certain combos work on certain characters. Be grateful you arn't Makoto.
