love how KDZ just talks like there is some magical, undiscovered answer to how GL can play against his ridiculous broken character. "he just tried to run away and zone" right, because when you try to get in on superman he just so happens to be the most broken gdlk character in footsies range too.

theres no fucking answer. although tbh i think djt shouldve played DD all the way through GF

Your are either blind or delusional. Did you even look at both of their matches in the top 8 or are you just blurting stuff out? Go on youtube and watch the matches then come back. Stop just saying random stuff and exaggerating what actually happened. I was at evo in person and watched both of their matches from beginning to end, so I am very positive that I know what happened in the match. You are making it seem like he didn't do anything on offense or attempt to come in on him. You are quite hilarious.

You are the best superman no doubt, but there were 3 supermans in the top 8, and even more in top 16 and 32, honestly for THEM they got by because of the character. Which is why I proposed that all other characters should be buffed to compete atleast 6-4 to 5-5 with superman. You said it yourself Chris G wouldnt dare use Green Arrow against you, he would have to rely on Black Adam. That should not be the case.

KDZ, I dnt need to calm down at all actually. How about you don't say ignorant things like you said and word things correctly so all of this could've been avoided? You could've easily just said "I feel like DJT didn't do (blank) and that is what led to the grand finals being 3 0". You saying "their was a major skill gap" is obviously going to cause drama because the moment ppl see that, they are like "is he being serious" or "he sounds so arrogant". All of this could've been avoided by a simple change in words, which apparently you aren't getting. I find it hilarious that you guys only played those two times at evo, yet that means "he didn't know what he was doing". We can argue all day, or you can make it simple and say that I didn't mean to word it that way and we can move on.

Have to agree with MITDJT - I can't fathom how anyone could thrust a finger at someone saying "you started it" from one side of your mouth when out of the other side you say "major skill gap".

This is probably a dumb question, but since you guys were testers and are obviously able to speak with some people at NRS, do you ever feel weird calling the game out on its negatives? When you see someone from NRS at an event like EVO, is there ever any tension because of the things some top players say?

I think we can all agree that a different wording of his comment could've kept this from happening. He believes i'm trying to attack him, i'm saying that how he worded that comment was a big mistake and people are obviously going to react to that. If he can realize that, he'll know why this happened. Also it is pure opinion why he or someone else thinks the grand finals weren't as hype as they could've been. There is no set in stone fact why.

I'd like to say that KDZ was absolutely on point at Evo. He played extremely smart. He had a gameplan. He knew exactly what to do and it worked. He had tons of setups, too.

One thing I don't get is why people keep talking crap like he was some sort of brain dead Superman. Dude busted out setups that he didn't do until finals. Various resets, mixups, great use of setups with Interactables. The dude clearly knew his game. That's why he won Evo. If he didn't he would have just been another Superman that would have lost in finals. Even if Superman's F23 wasn't as good I'm almost certain he would have taken it anyway.

Dude deserves props. There were things that people were not doing that they should have been too. And the game is only a few months old. People can and will figure things out. They always do for other games. This one is no different.

I know i'm not allergic to logic, but I think you and everyone else knows why the statement he made is a big issue. Like I said, a different wording of his statement and this thread would've reached maybe less than 50 replies.

Big props to KDZ for winning evo, but

booing makes you lose games and play differently, so I guess reo, cdjr and PL shoulve placed 1st,2nd and third at ceo because they were that much at disadvantage, you can't use that as an excuse for losing a game.

saying there is a huge skill gap and announcing youre the best superman in the world even though you won evo makes it sound really arrogant. Does reo announce himself as the best batman or kabal out of nowhere? no, thats not what you say about yourself, people say that about you.

He already stated that he meant that he outplayed DJT. If you think he didnt outplay DJT, explain why he won the GF 5-1.

This thread like many others on tym ends up spinning in circles. F2,3 breath is a poke in some ways similar to ryu crouching medium kick. It's used to read your opponents tendency and give you information on your next batch of options. KDZ capitalized on this even in superman mirrors in top eight and caused slayer to switch to ww but with the same result. To say he's the best superman player and just harp on that is an insult. He is much more then that he's a phenomenal player who is maximizing what his character does with his fundamentals. Lost in all of this is DJT and how great he played the whole weekend I give him nothing but major respect and I know full well he will do what most of this community doesn't do and it's shut up and level up.

Logic of some on TYM "loses to that person when that was their first time playing, obviously he didn't know what he was doing", so stupid.

Guys, guys, we're crucifying an EVO champion for being a little proud of his achievement and making a comment that seems to have been misinterpreted (he already explained what he meant)? Come on. I genuinely have seen more criticism than praise for KDZ since winning EVO, which is baffling.
