"130 ms is more legit than Labbing" - TYM
Im going to try my best to be a part of the boston scene and hopefully more than just the east coast. Im too hyped especially now that kano is gonna kick ass
you should know im australian but attend tournaments here and i really hope to make it to evo 2016 for MK (i cant afford an international trip this year). me and some buddies wanna attend since we missed mk9 evo.Trust me sweetness. It's going to be a good time.
P2W is most definitely an MK player and has been around forever. When I heard of him playing Sim in SF, I was surprised to hear it because I know him as an MK player.P2W was not active for most of MK9's run. He's been known as a Sim player for most of recent history.
and because P2W plays SF on the side doesnt make him a Capcom player either. PL isnt a capcom player but plays the game. Their roots are in MK. And he did in fact play MK9, he organized a lot of the Console Combats. He played Raiden, but as a 2012er i wouldnt really expect you to know that. That doesn't change the fact that he moved over to the Capcom community and wasn't a part of the nuclear MK9 crowd.
People do make choices and changes in life. For example Bit used to play Tekken years ago -- that doesn't mean he's currently considered a part of the Tekken community..
Pl's originally from doa thoughand because P2W plays SF on the side doesnt make him a Capcom player either. PL isnt a capcom player but plays the game. Their roots are in MK. And he did in fact play MK9, he organized a lot of the Console Combats. He played Raiden, but as a 2012er i wouldnt really expect you to know that.
Well I'm looking forward to playing you in 2016 then.you should know im australian but attend tournaments here and i really hope to make it to evo 2016 for MK (i cant afford an international trip this year). me and some buddies wanna attend since we missed mk9 evo.
I agree. I'm all about character loyalty and my favorite players are always those who have a love of their character that transcends their playstyle...but variation loyalty just seems silly to me. It would be like having an ultra or assist loyalty in Street Fighter or Marvel. Character loyalists should embrace and refine *all* aspects of their chosen character.....not 1/3rd of it.I don't understand variation loyalty. Variation loyalty is definitely something NRS would see as taking away from their desired effect I just described. Why refuse this feature? If you want to deal with harsh bipolar matchups as a price for character loyalty, we will always have Injustice for that.
Love always is.Character loyalty is for suckers
Let's not be overly optimistic and expect every character to have a variation that doesn't have death matchups either.@juicepouch and @Eric Z19 u guys do realize that there is a good chance of ppl being a variation specialist because a character may have one variation that does better than their other two and matchup wise is the best as well. Perfect examples of these are street fighter alpha 3 and capcom v snk 2. Let us not be overly optimistic and expect every variation to be "viable"
That's a fair point, and if that's the way it works out it's perfectly reasonable. I'm really talking more about the people who are going into this thinking that they're going to rep and specialize in one particular variation up front. I don't see the point in that.@juicepouch and @Eric Z19 u guys do realize that there is a good chance of ppl being a variation specialist because a character may have one variation that does better than their other two and matchup wise is the best as well. Did I say that?..... Dnt put words into my mouth lol. Reading into my post way too much. Like I said, look at sf alpha 3 or capcom v snk 2 and come back to me.Let's not be overly optimistic and expect every character to have a variation that doesn't have death matchups either.
No, you're saying that one variant could be the best and people can specialize and sunshine and rainbows and all that shit. I'm saying that in the real world the chances that NRS can make a game with 20+ characters with 3 variants without your chosen variant main having a horrendous matchup is slim to none.Did I say that?..... Dnt put words into my mouth lol. Reading into my post way too much. Like I said, look at sf alpha 3 or capcom v snk 2 and come back to me.
Umm yeah that could happen lol. Did u disregard the last part of my last post? Check out those 2 games and you will see what I mean. I am not saying this will be the case for all characters but there is a chance that it will be that way for some. Also what classifies as the "real world" for a fighting game?. Stick to actual evidence when arguing . You aren't getting what I am saying I believe. No, you're saying that one variant could be the best and people can specialize and sunshine and rainbows and all that shit. Again, I'm aware of this -- but he hasn't been playing MK as a 'main' game in 4 years, since he became mostly Capcom-focused. Console Combat wasn't an MK-only series, and he wasn't participating in MK9 for most of its run there.. And It's now 2015..and because P2W plays SF on the side doesnt make him a Capcom player either. PL isnt a capcom player but plays the game. Their roots are in MK. And he did in fact play MK9, he organized a lot of the Console Combats.
