War of the Normalized, "Fallen Gods of Injustice": Black Adam vs Superman

Sorry, I've never dared ask, but what does normalize mean in fighting game context? Nerfed?

Can be nerfed or buffed, since Superman and Black Adam were toned down it is a nerf in that context, but they're used it when referring to buffs before. I think NRS is the only dev that uses this term.

Pre-nerfed superman was far and away the best character in the game. Probably would still be if he wasn't nerfed.

The fact that he had divebomb resets back then too, but he didn't even need to use them to destroy most of the cast. LOL

First time I actually noticed him using it pre-patch, but I lol'd at I think Jebaily coming out in the Black Adam costume.
