why do you only list part of Quan's fatality but you say all of Scorpion's? I don't think I've ever mind raped a dude to deep throat a sword in other video games

Scorpion's Fatality is better and more original.

The split HAS to be added to tone down the violence of this fatality. It's obvious ffs.
Boon and NRS said 1000 times that funny twists have to be included and make the violence so over the top to look totally ridiculous. It's their answer to the most useless question present in all MKX interviews " hey guys, how do you come up with them blah blah"

I had already stated earlier that the first half of it was cool. The second half was been there done that.

Scorpion's was all original. Especially the details. The dangling heart as well as the twitching tongue as they lay dead.

Gaping chest wounds have been done before, multiple times.

If you'd choose to argue none before have had dangling hearts, i'd argue that none before had someone get cut in half vertically by being lifted and forced downward via magic telekineses.

Someone having a fiery fist punch a hole straight through their body, someone being dragged into a saw-blade esque hat.

Both examples of each done before.

Someone being slowly torn inhalf by a shadow man and his doppleganger, and showing their hand into a person's ribcage and taking their heart out before ripping their head off and putting it into the chest hole.

Another example of a giant chest hole fatality and a vertical split fatality.

We're talking about Mortal Kombat....not every other fucking game. So you're wrong, no MK title had a gaping chest wound.

And it doesn't matter how the vertical slice came to be, the end result is the same.

Scorpion has 2 parts to his Fatality that have never been done before in any capacity.

Nuff said.

I want to be upset, but at this point i'm just a little disheartened.

In any other debate i've had on this site, the person i'd be arguing with would have some bit of logic, or proof, or fact, or anything. With that, if they actually had something that was truly right, I could say I'd come away from the experience with some form of new knowledge.

Dude don't even argue with this guy. He made a thread saying that that Kano now looks like Trevor Goddard in MKX when he's been based off of him since Mortal Kombat deadly alliance.

Sometimes this forum is ignorant, but this is a hopeless kind of density. Every point you make shoots so far above his head that it enters upper orbit the second he lays eyes on it.

He doesn't upset me, the fact that there may be people on this forum that agree with any of his easily-proven-false(And i'm not talking about him liking Scorpion's fatality, that's okay, I mean the him going to the point of literally lying and misquoting, as well as spouting out misinformation despite easily accessible proof of his falseness) statements of his is what bothers me. Almost as if the suction that pulled his head into his ass has started to suck in others.

Are Mortal Kombat characters bones made of butter or what? If they really wanted to sell the idea of true brutality, they would have had the body rise up a lot faster on the blade. The speed seemed way to slow to cut the sternum, spine and pelvic bones.

They are obviously trying to show some resistance as if cutting the bones, by displaying quick interruptions as the body slides vertically down the blade. But it's definitely not fast enough to generate that cleaving power.

These nuances have always been one of my gripes with this series.

I don't know if you know this, but being force pushed into a blade isn't the same thing as being lifted, and forced downward upon it.
