Tom Brady might not be the best player, but his data and tech is really good and correct for the most part.Yeah, he was sarcastically acting like TB hadn't labbed it out properly, by pretending to do the same set up and show how "easy" it is to escape. But he deliberately slowed down the combo to put the gaps in there, this is his main, there is no way he couldn't replicate TBs lab setup for a character he doesn't play. He simply chose not to. Downplay in its most disgusting form and I feel bad for anybody fooled by it.
Please help me I get crushed by jax lolThis is no where near Jax, 11 pressure is so far away from this. Jax is a series of reads based pressure character I can provide you multiple ways to counter each move if you like.
"Vs Online liu kang"Thats not how it works at all lol
You're roommate is not fuzzy guarding 10 and 14 frame normals, especially if you are plus. He is doing what any sane person would do. Switch from high to low or low to high and hope he doesn't get hit. If he's blocking you so much that's most likely from playing you all the time. If you consistently have the same timing to when you do the low or overhead then he will catch on. You pause for even a moment longer or just plain throw then he won't know what to do. If he is so concerned with blocking a mixup why not just do more FBRCs. You probably do the same thing against Quan.dude my roommate fuzzy guards 1 out of 3 times. and every time it gets blocked i'm entering quanchi's bull shit.
y'all need to stop complaining about a character that's midtier
To quote @GGA Dizzy "an arms race for offense" lolso honest question... how does the match go when its DF VS DF ?
The same way it goes for every other character besides the 4 or so with slow normals- it's read based. Liu Kang has a 6 frame F1.so honest question... how does the match go when its DF VS DF ?

It seems most people think that everyone has Kenshi's frame data all of a sudden. No, they don't.
Here's the thing- Nerfing Liu Kang isn't going to make Kenshi's frame data better. Kenshi needs faster normals (for a start). Kenshi needs help against the majority of the cast, so let's do the smart thing and elevate the character that needs help.
If you find yourself on Dave's side of the argument, fine. But just realize this goof ball isn't going to be happy until he can sit full screen and lob projectiles at you for an easy win. The sad thing is, making these kind of bs threads and lobbying for character nerfs actually works with NRS because A) their development process isn't sound and B) their playtesting & QA are either terrible or ignored or both. That's why I'm jumping ship to SF5 as soon as it hits. I'm done with this politicking bullshit.
i am sure sfv will have no balance issues and no one will ever argue over mus or complain. The same way it goes for every other character besides the 4 or so with slow normals- it's read based. Liu Kang has a 6 frame F1.

The roster shouldn't be rebalanced just to deal with one specific character's retarded bullshit. Just stop.i have already said it once and for the last time saying buff those characters who are having trouble in escaping the pressure (give them faster normals).
Listen I dont have time for this, nerf Liu Kang, buff everyone else i dont care. And i dont give a damn to what you think, others think and what Brady think. Leave me alone and don't reply me after this because i am not going to reply, i have other works to do rather than this shit. The roster shouldn't be rebalanced just to deal with one specific character's retarded bullshit. Just stop.
why are u guys complaining about Liu Kang, when the character who needs an obvious nerf is Jason
THISBuff Kenshi. The problems you show only occurs with some of the cast only. If they have a problem with this they would also have issues with Jax's 11 pressure, or Tanya and KL's pressure, because the Liu Kang FK MB just puts you at 2 plus at the most. Therefore give some of these characters better pokes. Leave Liu Kang as he is.
Cage is the only similar one on that list due to jailing but doesn't have anything loopable, nowhere near the same as Liu.Sure you can NERF the flying kick go for it but everything else no.
IF you NERF Liu kangs FBCs I also want to see...
Kung Lao NERF
Quan Chi NERF
Cassie NERF
Shinnok NERF
Johnny Cage NERf
Sub zero clone NERF since it does exactly what this does but in a different way.
EVERY character in the game that has MASSIVE plus frames or creates massive block stun to be NERF.
This is like stereotyping one character when multiple Characters have this or something similar.
But wont he still have enough plus frames to jail the high?Cage is the only similar one on that list due to jailing but doesn't have anything loopable, nowhere near the same as Liu.
Tanya and Lao are only + when spending meter (which is fine cause that doesn't come for free), Quan is loopable on hit but he'll never kill you on block, Liu kills on both hit and block.
Why would you nerf Shinnok?
Cassie and Sub only have somewhat loopable shit either on hit in the corner, or on hit with meter.
So basically where's the justification?
Liu jails you for stamina, builds more meter than he uses most of the time, and when it's finally your turn, you better hope you have a 6f normal or a 7f reversal, if not have fun risking the round.
Nobody has anything similar to Liu.
Someone suggested in Brady's stream yesterday to make Lius F2 a high, which I think would be reasonable.
Also, I face palmed at @Genei Jin saying that you can armour or low profile f213 loops. Shits not even hard to do you have a 3f window.
Stop making f2 a high would fuck up FF and it will whiff with some charactersMake f2 a high or make flying kick meter burn neutral on block . One or the other I'm happy with that
He would, but at least on a read you could interrupt him. It'd have to be on the first f2.But wont he still have enough plus frames to jail the high?
Liu Kangs got a million and 1 mid hitting strings as it is, making f2 high would mean he'd actually have to think in some of these situations rather than just about the numbers.Stop making f2 a high would fuck up FF and it will whiff with some characters
True and also change his combo Enders f213 at the end of combos wouldn't hit in the corner probably :/ didn't think of the other variations. I still think flying kick meter burn being neutral is a more fair and easy solutionStop making f2 a high would fuck up FF and it will whiff with some characters
The problem with that is Liu well always lose if it was 0. His fastest normal is his f1 (6 frames) but it's a high, d1 is 9 frames. Most if not all characters have 8 frame d1 or lower if I am not mistakingTrue and also change his combo Enders f213 at the end of combos wouldn't hit in the corner probably :/ didn't think of the other variations. What if they made D1 8 frames a as a trade off?The problem with that is Liu well always lose if it was 0. His fastest normal is his f1 (6 frames) but it's a high, d1 is 9 frames. Most if not all characters have 8 frame d1 or lower if I am not mistaking
