I know it wasn't explicitly mentioned but...if you haven't seen a mongoose take on a cobra then you need to level up your Discovery channel watchage. Those footsies! That spacing!

I don't have any stake in who knew about the setups in my corner thread first(like I said, they weren't even new when I posted that thread, and I'm not interested in credit for tech or set ups) but on the podcast you basically left the impression that the Ares community has some ok stuff but you've got all the good tech that they haven't found yet. Then you proceeded to "reveal" setups that not only weren't new, they were well documented on the Ares forums.

Maybe you do know all kinds of stuff that the greater Ares community is unaware of, but as someone who posts often in the Ares forums and also frequents your stream and has made a point to view all your tournament footage you don't appear to be someone on the cutting edge of Ares tech. All I know is that at Defend the North you were repeatedly using a set up that you told me was a gimmick not worth using when I posted it back in June.

I'm curious what you have to say about the Black Adam match up, but I really hope you're not planning on backing up match up opinions that were argued about in a different version of the game using a single tournament set against someone who probably doesn't play this game anymore and looked uncomfortable in the match up. I still think BA-Ares is pretty bad

everything with ares is a gimmick and not worth using. I use my setups and play how I play because it is how I get wins. It doesnt have to be tech, and I base everything off of tournament and when I see other Ares' in tournament I see none of the "tech". And the few glimpses where I have i still see people struggle

I 100 fucking % support this. You must be fearless with a "low" tier character in order to truly expose their shit. Don't let anyone hold you back when you are 200% dedicated to making a character work, we are fortunate enough that IGAU has no unviable characters and we need character specialists who stick to their guns.

I really like your play with Ares and we share the same mindset.

Major love for repping my stuff guys! Glad everyone loved the KTP design. Kinda sad you didn't post it though, was looking forward to people's reactions. :(
For the record, I'm still bitter about the fact that Scorpion got put in this game over another DC character and had no interest in making a Scorpion design.........but then 16 bit made his pitch on GGA and he swung me. It's on the list of things to do when I get a chance. Have an aquaman one to finish first though.

-Its been incredible to watch Arma's real time progression from an ok Batman player to someone who's currently in the conversation for top injustice players right now. Funnily enough I feel like when that transition really started to happen for real was directly following his guest spot on KTP. I remember when he was all like "yeah....I'm not sure I'm ever going to be able to beat Rico...", and now he dominates his BA so hard that he forces him to counterpick with trident rush.

-Oh and yes: yes, ye gods among us the Bane downplaying needs to *STOP*. At one point in this games life bane was probably the worst character in the game. That was a time when his charge could be parried and his forward and back dashes gave him no way to get in on characters who would just run away. That time was 3 or 4 buffs ago. Seriously, Bane was probably mid tier at that point but nobody actually got the memo so NRS buffed him again based on the perception rather than the reality.
In case anyone talking smack about him has forgotten, Grr was making waves at NLBC *prepatch*. Why is anyone surprised that he's now making top 8 when his character got a KTP award winning buff and then some last time around?
