this is NRS we are talking about where one of the main guys is the MasterTroll Boon? :) I don't know what is the truth or what is a lie with them anymore, really :/

nonono i would never think that... without him there would be no Injustice at all... I just don't know when they are trolling and when they are not anymore... frankly the way the select screen is designed i don't see anyway they could add other characters - unless you have to go down the screen all the way to choose him/her

We saw Raven on a magazine screenshot before the comic came out. Ares was named by Senior Producer Adam Urbano in a magazine as a character they wanted to make more known. This was also before the comic.

doesn't change the fact they were in the comic before they were OFFICIALLY released (well ares soon)

Wow, a lot to read through. Missed a lot today thanks to new job. Anyways. First off, since the trailer was taken DOWN from GameTrailers and hadn't shown up on Injustice's YouTube page...I think some idiot at GameTrailers uploaded it early. Unsurprising considering the fuck-up with Gamestop. Maybe NRS should just do everything themselves. On to Raven herself. Just like Wonder Woman, I don't think her face looks as bad as everyone says, but I won't say no to an alternate that changes the face. Hell, I've definitely seen worse faces out there. Hell, it wasn't until Mass Effect 3 that I was finally able to get my female Shepard to look right. As for her voice, that'll take getting used to. Wasn't expecting THAT deep of a voice, but still feminine sounding to me and I like the demonic reverb. For her overall look? I freaking love it with one little nitpick and that's her hood. I think it is too small, should've flared out a bit more like Shazam's. But I love the claw-gloves and the boots and the outfit and the cloak. And her moves look fun. I hope that ms. Roth won't be a pain to pick up and play.

That hasn't been confirmed. Hector said "there's about 12 characters right now, and we aren't even halfway there". Key word being about. Meaning...he counted 10 or 11, ad said we're not even halfway there. Sure, he could have meant 12 and there is indeed more than 24, but the point is, it's not a guarantee. His words might have been mistaken.

Hector said the select screen was a decoy. Meaning the select screen itself, not the amount of characters on it. That could just mean they would be using a different design, or change some things. It was just temporary. Nowehere did he state "the amount of characters will be more than that".

No, a logical assumption would be 24, given that's what we've seen for the past 10 months, and we already know who those 24 are (6 people not on the select screen, add Sinestro, Shazam, Hawkgirl, Doomsday, Ares, and the girl from the achievement, and there's your 24). That's the logical assumption. Saying 26-28 is a guess, a hopeful guess. Not impossible, but the logic enlies with the evidence and facts presented this whole time. We haven't heard a peep or a single hint at any other character beyond the 24 we know of. Even Ares, Black Adam, Hawkgirl, Sinestro, Doomsday, and Raven have been said to be in the game from magazines, shown in trailers, or backgrounds, going months back.

Expect 24, be surprised and happy if there's more. But if you are expecting 26-28, you will just be disappointing yourself. Def. don't expect 30 or more.

I was totally unfamiliar with Raven until today, so I've been anticipating her reveal. After watching the showcase, she's definitely not my cup of tea. I'm not of fan of telekinetic powers, so my interest in her is zero. However, I do like her design. I've been reading here that Raven is good at times and evil at other times. I tend to gravitate toward the non-do-gooders, so I do like this "demon" take on Raven. I'm going to assume that she is possessed by her demonic daddy. Because she's demonically possessed, she does not have to have an attractive face. Again, she's a demon, not a runway model. Her deep voice is pleasing (she's possessed, remember). Raven's aesthetics and possible "I'm possessed by my demon daddy" storyline are all that appeal to me. I will not be maining her.

This kitty has claws! It's great to see Selina again closer to launch. We've see all this before, but moves like dat slash never get old! The speed, the rush down, dat whip - perfect 10s. And to top it all off, she's got the moves and style with those quick dodging animations. Her super move may very well be viewed as lackluster, but I appreciate how it accentuates her catty style...and that whip-yank-neckbreak is beautiful.


I love your shoes!

Saying there's (about) twelve characters and then that's not even halfway? More than 24. Also remember MK9 had characters kept completely secret(Smoke, Sheeva, Cyber Sub) and if it weren't for the leak they'd have been secret until launch.

Lobo has also been said to be DLC by Boon, dating back to October. (at 6:50)


And MArtian Manhunter, as much as people want to live in denial(I want him too, but come on...), Boon straight up asked if people want him as DLC over Zoom. As silly as that is, you can't just ignore that and think he's in the game. When I said people hinted at, I meant ones that were said to be seen in story mode(Sinestro, Raven, Black Adam, Ares), in the background and on the fight stick(Doomsday), shown in a trailer(Hawkgirl), or on the achievement picture(Random female). MMH was never hinted in that manner.

Saying there's ABOUT 12, means NOT 12.

He was likely indicating 10 or 11 being ABOUT 12, and yes, that's not even halfway there. Which makes sense. If he meant 12 right on, why not just say "we're 12 characters in, and we're not halfway there". So this is not a good example for why it's got to be more than 24. It's possible, sure, but these aren't good reasons or evidence.

Yes, MK9 did keep some secret, but they didn't go beyond the select screen. They just didn't announce everyone that was on it. We still have that potential of "secrets" with Ares and the girl on the achievement picture. They could just not announce them as playable.

I'm aware...BUT, he clearly says "we have about 12 characters"

So yes, at the time there was 12 characters officially announced. Even though Joker and Lantern were'nt actually shown in game. But, the point is, he says "about 12". The definition of about is almost, close to etc.

Either way, this is pointless. You can believe what you want. It's better to expect the minimum and be pleasantly surprised than to say "yeah, there's for sure going to be more than 24" and then there turns out to be 24. Even if people who say it's 24 or wrong, they still win, because they get more. If you hold your hopes out for more, and it ends up being 24, you are wrong and unhappy. So i'll stick to my estimation of what was implied.

Oh, I agree. Just stating the obvious. Still, this game has my 3 favorite female heroes in it, even if two of them aren't supermodels :p Gonna be hard to pick between Raven and Hawkgirl.

how long does it take them after the release to give us DLC or at least info on DLC - coz i asume now i have to wait for more months to know anything about MMH in Injustice
