ahh Kabal's broken again... :(


EX Burst does 3% damage now.
oh come on, this is not ok! if you want to nerf it, I have a suggestion: how about you revert his damage to normal but make it low? or mid with heavy +frames on block? this way quan loses his rune trap but gains better pressure with meter.

also quan's trance buff is kinda crazy, I suggest you revert it to normal. wouldn't mind having a special cancellable 214 too, not that he needs it or would have any big impact on quan's game, but there would be a use for that string then.

EDIT: I think I've found a bug: personally I can't perform quan's boost for the rest of the round after I've done a trace. I'm on the PC version.

I tried out the new PC version, played 1.5-2 hours, haven' encountered any bugs.

Messed around with Stryker in the practice mode, he's a lot more fun now than the KE version. I managed to fairly easily get 35% mid screen off of his b32, it's a nice punisher now for blocked teleports and tele-lifts and similar moves that are very negative on block. Completed an arcade ladder with him, had no issues, alt costume/color_1 used.

I also messed a little with Kitana in the practice mode. Her pretty kicks remained OVERHEAD. I thought those would be changed to regular MIDS. Against a crouch-blocking Mileena her regular Pretty Kicks completely whiff (go over Mileena) 50% of the time if not more. The first kick of the enhanced version whiffs often as well. I think changing this move from overhead to regular mid, but increasing the hitbox to avoid whiffing would be a good way to go.

Finally, I messed a little with Jade in the practice mode. Encountered no problems, but I just now realised that you cannot perform two enhanced boomerangs of the same type in a row. For example, if you do b, f+1+blk and try to follow it up with another b, f+1+blk, a regular version of the boomerang will come out, instead of the enhaced one. Same thig happens if you try to do two enhanced low boomerangs in a row- first one will come out enhanced, but the second one will come out regular. However, I was able to perform two enhanced boomerangs of different type in a row (like high then low or low then high). Odd, but it's probably the same in the non-modded version as well.

I'm kind of puzzled now that the armor has been removed from Kabal's enhanced nomad dash and the regular version can be cancelled, what's the point of using one bar for the enhanced version. I checked his frame data, and if I saw well, the only advantage of the enhanced version is that it is slightly quicker (13 frames compared to 18 frames startup, but both are -31 on block). Maybe it should be made safer on block now, to compensate for the loss of armor?
Similar with Sonya's enhanced kartwheel. Since it no loger has armor, the only advantage remaining over the regular version is that it does 3% more damage when performed naked, and adds 1-2% extra damage in combos. Not very useful for one bar of meter, I'd say. Both are -3 on block, maybe the enhanced one could now be 0 on block and recover slightly quicker on whiff to give more pay off for that one bar invested?

Kitana's the same as TE 1.00, she'll be changed in the next update.
The decision to remove Sonya's armor was done to only nerf EX kartwheel, and not both: the block recovery frame data is shared between BOTH versions. NRS's programming at it's finest.

First of all thank you for this patches.

Don't you think u nerfed Kenshi too hard?
i can see why you slowed his recovery on ex Telecharge and ex rk on block and good job on that. it slows his game now.
" Startup speed slightly decreased for Telecharge (both versions) " this is okay too.

Now, losing his armor on ex Teleflurry is okay but why his EX Telecharge?! since his armor duration on ex rk has been reduced too!

It would be wise too give his ex Telecharge armor back and keep other changes as they are.

nope, bug does not occur on PS3, tested in training mode.
But I discovered why the bug happens.
Ya see, the value that controls this is by default set to 78 00 00 00. To enable Boost after Trance, you set this to 00 00 00 00.
Now, for some odd reason (most likely my sleeping problems at the time) I set this on PC to 84 03 00 00.
Great. I apologize for that, I had no clue what I was doing. I'll release a hotfix soon.

BTW, has anybody had any problems with MK3 Sektor and MK3 Mileena now?
also, did anyone have trouble playing against another TE 1.00 player with Cyber Sub-Zero? If you had any problems, do you still have them now on TE 1.25?
The main reason I ask this is because a couple of the guys stated Cyber Sub didn't show up on the character select screen in online mode, but he showed up just fine offline.

it's a bug that the game already had in vanilla, at least on PC. characters in the DLC slots and CSZ sometimes don't show up online.

Also if you want to do half the planet a great favor make Kung Lao's teleport 3 an actual high as it should be, to whiff on crouch block always on any character regardless if they are turned or not.
