It looks weird because it angles away from her face in an unnatural looking way. It should just be straight down.
I was thinking that she may had been on Kotal Kahns side at one point and then betrayed him to help Mileena. He does say he remembers her because "He will never forget those who freed Mileena". To which Tanya then gives the reason why she is siding with Mileena over him. It never says if they were allied beforehand or not but I think given the context that is a definite possibility. (Btw I think about this stuff WAY too much lol).
Yeah I was thinking maybe a brief Alliance to free Mileena as part of rains plan?... As she is not in the comic yet and rain just got fried... So he would possibly recruit her while recovering if Mileena is captured after the current battle...
I may be wrong but I think the "Freeing Mileena" has already occurred in the comics. Mileena was imprisoned by Kotal right after she was deposed (The flashback scene in story mode when Kotal assumes power) and thats when Tanya and whoever else freed her. After that they began the rebellion to get Mileena back in power. Unless she is captured and they have to free her again lol.
Yeah you're probably right... I get confused on timelines between the two with all the jumping around... So then Tanya is just not around in the comic for some reason when she was already involved... I wonder what she is up to then... Also maybe what I suggested happened earlier then after the flashback and before the current comic arc..just without rain being down...

The new pictures mean nothing, if nrs wanted to they can still change her skin to dark. He said the fan will be happy so maybe she could be darker or he could be trolling.
