Green arrow is WAY better than Joker is, thats why it's a bad arguement. If you're saying from going to one of the best to the worst and expecting the same results then yeah.

To some extent playing a better character will help you, but it doesn't automatically mean you're going to start winning tournaments.

According to you, if Daigo were to use Deejay the shittiest character in the game instead of Evil Ryu(one of the best if not the best at the moment), do you think he would have the same results? The higher up characters have better tools than the lower ones, hence them being low on the tier list.

If we put the best Joker player vs the best Aquaman player for example, who would come out on top? AM just has way better tools than Joker does


Also, if Batgirl is carrying him, how come Batgirl isn't carrying all the other batgirl mains? I literally havent seen anyone else do what @SonicFox5000 does.

Joker is about equal to GA if not better. And there aren't too many batgirl mains here.

Is he? I don't actually know the lower tier list of IGAU so if i'm wrong in that sense it's fine.

Exactly, but there are other batgirl players right? If so, how come they aren't placing well at tournaments like SonicFox is

I never said that fox had no fundamentals. He is a good player but not hands down best. How can so many people think that someone playing a character that only has to make 1 read in the nuetral game to end your life is hands down the best?

OK let's do the math:

EVO 2014 top 8:

One strictly Batgirl player, and one player who used her twice in the entire tournament. So even if we count MIT as a Batgirl player: 1+1 = 2.

EVO 2013 top 8:

TWO strictly Superman players, and one player who also used Wonder Woman. 1 + 1 + 1 = 3.

And here is where it gets better: Slayer ONLY used Wonder Woman against KDZ, after losing the first match in the mirror. He counter picked with WW, and lost. That's it. Every other match played was with Superman.

So let me get this straight you're equating: One full Batgirl main + one player who pulled her out twice but doesn't main her to three Superman mains but one of them pulled an alt for ONE match-up which he lost. And on top of that, you're condescending enough to call someone who's disproving your silly theory baseless. Good grief.

They live in Australia and Scotland. There's a lot of MMHs. And Aquamans so Aquaman and MMH are always placing cause there are more of them increasing the chance.

This. Anyone see that Rico Sauce vs Sonicfox match. Rico was obviously outplaying sonic fox but lost due to a few wrong guesses.

There must be some North American batgirls no?

Also, it's always the same MMH and AM players placing. It's not some fluke that Theo,Forever King, Jupiter etc continue to place high at every tournament they attend.

My "silly theory" that actually isn't a theory and is fact is that there were more Supermen at EVO 2013 than there were Batgirls at EVO 2014. Therefore Superman had more chance of being in top 8 multiple times than Batgirl did. The ratio of EVO-winning character in top 8 to number of participants playing that EVO-winning character is the same. It's simple mathematics. In your own supercilious words - "Good grief".

Maybe there's a reason more people played Superman than Batgirl? Could it be that he was far more OP? That's the whole argument here. You're trying to debate semantics to save face, while ignoring the real point at hand.

Also, the idea that quantity increases the chances of a character winning is utter bullshit. Do you have data as to how many players played Batgirl at EVO 2014? Even if there were 20 batgirl players, who cares when only one or two of them are any good?

And finally, my argument was not baseless. It was based on a common fact that YOU were oblivious to. When I make a claim that is correct, you could at least research before calling it baseless. That has to be the dumbest line of thinking I've seen in a while. So if I somehow was not aware of who won KIT, and claim that MMH has never won a major outside of the EC, and you reply "yes, he has, Jupiter won KIT" but don't provide a link to the results, does that make your argument baseless, or me ignorant? Because all I did was point out how KDZ, Slayer and Theo were Superman mains initially. Which was a fact.

Good to see that #YearOfTheYouph means you're still making cringe-worthy posts.
