Too many sony fanboys, i am going to rofl when mkx does what mk9 did and end up running better on XboxUnfortunately, the poll results are NOT agreeing with us.

I'm getting a PS4 for sure. Better exclusive titles (or at least exclusive titles I'm more interested in), Street Fighter V, and I can't play fighting games on an Xbox pad (not sure where to find a converter over here). So let's pray for no region lock.xBone free if PS4 is region-locked so I can bop my homie, @coolwhip.

As a Killer Instinct player, I'd obviously prefer to get MKX for the One so it'll be a simple matter to switch between both games while staying on one console.
I only wrote that bc someone above mentioned it being region-locked, though I do feel you on some of those points (SF especially). As far as the pads go though, I'm all about that PDP MKX pad coming out: 6 face buttons and a PS style dpad FTW. Either way, fingers crossed for no region lock so we can have some lagtastic duels!I'm getting a PS4 for sure. On the convertor thing, you guys are kind of misinformed. You have been able to make a convertor for PS4 or XB1 using a PS2 pad since day 1. All you need to do is a little soldering. Use Toodles FGW convertor (http://www.godlikecontrols.com/download/converterwelcome2.pdf) and piggyback it onto a common ground PS4 or XB1 pad (My personal favorite, Hori FC4 http://www.play-asia.com/fighting-commander-4-paOS-13-49-en-70-7sn9.html for PS4 and one of the 3rd party XB1 pads for XB1) and you have a convertor that will never be patched out on a firmware update. You just have to be willing to put either some work in or pay someone to do it.PS4.
As Tom said, controller tech isn't there yet for next-gen, so more people are playing on the console with a stronger pad for FGs. Neither pad is great, honestly lol, but PS4 is better for FGs as a whole. Also, a number of FGs, most notably Street Fighter V, are being released exclusively on Sony consoles. Unless that changes, the only reason to own XB1 for FGs is for KI in that sense, unless the multiplatform games run better on XB1.
In all honesty, the performance concern shouldn't be one, given that PS4 and XB1 run on similar enough hardware, though it should be noted that PS4 is capable of playing games at 1080p at 60fps, something XB1 doesn't do. Some XB1 versions of games actually don't even run at 60fps, while the PS4 versions do, so that brings into question exactly how stable of a performance XB1 actually provides in comparison. DirectX12 should help the XB1 here, but for now, the PS4 (so far) seems to actually run better.
I voted XBONE since as a TO it covers both KI and MKX.
Mk9 and IGAU had major framerate issues with PS3 so I'm definitely not getting this for PS4.
So what about the ppl who play the new guilty gear?I voted XBONE since as a TO it covers both KI and MKX.

Makes sense on paper, until we realise that the amount of people who actually know how to play the game competitively on the PC version can be counted on Goro's fingers.People worrying about which console to choose depending on pads.
Meanwhile, PC master race is laughing and enjoying any pad they could think of.
Well actually, fortunately, a lot of the good players are moving to/getting the games on PC. The Injustice port was too crappy to welcome moving to PC, but a lot of people here on TYM got MK on PC and really enjoyed it.Makes sense on paper, until we realise that the amount of people who actually know how to play the game competitively on the PC version can be counted on Goro's fingers.
I for one ain't dropping mkx just because of injustice 2. Mortal kombat is and always will be my favorite fighter.People shouldnt worry about SF V console exclusivity as by 2016, MK X will be in it's death throes as everyone salivates over the upcoming Injustice 2 game by NRS.
Fixing it requires Bluetooth hardware, so don't hold your breath on that one.Just so you guys know, people with PS360+ components inside their stick can update their stick to play on PS4.
It kicks you off every 8 minutes, but its a start and I know they are looking into fixing this.
I hear ya dude, just a bit of light sarcasm because of the short attention span of NRS fighting game fans. MK X is going to Godlike. Yeeeeeeap!I for one ain't dropping mkx just because of injustice 2. Mortal kombat is and always will be my favorite fighter.
yeah but 8 minutes isn't bad. just means you have to soft reset the controller after every match... thats not hard. Shouldnt be a problem unless this game has config issues like IGAUFixing it requires Bluetooth hardware, so don't hold your breath on that one.
#YEEEAAPPP and I agree haha. The attention spans of NRS fans are very small. I hope our competitive scene changes some and keeps mkx around.I hear ya dude, just a bit of light sarcasm because of the short attention span of NRS fighting game fans. MK X is going to Godlike. Yeeeeeeap!
