He finally just gave up today and killed it. He didn't have a master ball so he went through the trouble of putting it to sleep and false swipe. And it was pre-elite four.

I'm stuck on using Pokemon I like vs. Viable Pokemon.
Solar Power actually isn't bad for him. He learns sunny day, so it's pretty much a setup a when he uses it. Or you can just use nasty plot, but then you can't run solar beam unless you have support. He's doing really well in this meta atm actually.
I find him getting out-sped and 1 hit KO'd too often, especially since he has to set-up sunny day.
There isn't really much that outspeeds him that I think of. There's greninja, lopunny, manectric,tflame, and scarfers/prioirty. However he deals with gallade, metagross, gardevoir if setup, gengar, thundurus. He's lretty anti meta. You dont need sunny day either. Nasty plot is just as good if not a little better.
