If you're wearing a factions gear, the points for crucible & vanguard count towards that faction. I was wearing dead orbit stuff so that's why it wasn't working. I feel very dumb.

Dude...this Vanguard Marks grind is ridiculous. You need 315 Marks for a full armor set and the level 3 Strike I have access nets me a whopping 3 Marks per run. That's 105 Strike runs for a full set! I mean I get that there's daily / weekly Strikes that net you a bit more but good grief. That's nuts.

I have been grinding to get some decent gear since I got a late start with the game...but I think I am there now so invite me if you want to run some strikes, do some glimmer runs, or just bust some dance moves patrolling the moon.

Obviously, but not everyone does them. Or, they're unable to do it because they're the only one there and it's one of the events that require more than one person. Some of the events require you to kill that one mob that moves from checkpoint to checkpoint and they're hard as balls to solo.

How do you guys deal with the Strike on the Moon? The one with the chained fatass in the centre. I've been doing it with randoms and it's hard to get everyone on the same page.

I've got like 7 legendary engrams , only 1 was a legendary ( heavy machine gun , WHY?! ) , my brother plays on my account with a wizard , gets first legendary engram = exotic helm.....

Once you enter the area he's in, go all the way to the left and hide behind the boulder. He can't really hurt you there as you can keep ducking behind the boulder for cover.

Just have to be careful with the adds as they can flush you out at a bad time. But this is what all my friends and I do and we blew his ass apart when doing the weekly Heroic Strike.
