Who has something to prove in Injustice?

The way I see it, I was one win away from top 8 according to the brackets. I just so happen to lose to DD while at that time not knowing that mu so ill hold that, but u still fail to realize that my NW is fundamentaly better than yours and I will bet money on that literally...and also considering final round was my first tournament. I hope and pray we both go to KIT now that the game has grown since then and we will see. If anyone else disagrees then put your money up....and yes that is a call out.
What was your placing at FR?

I went to kit last year and it was 1 month after I graduated and finally started playing regularly. I got blown up. I went and trained and came to FR just hoping I could do better than 1-2. I got 9th and beat the two top players in the game at the time. Call outs are fine but you can't take away what I have done. The fact that you are trying is flattering.

At KIT What are we going to do? Nightwing mirror matches to decide who's better? God I hope your joking.

I get what u are saying for sure but most players who place high dnt have big egos and biased opinions, what u did right there was stereotype. Also tbh I would listen to the opinion of justin wong about sf knowledge over Ultradavid because he not only has the knowledge but he is able to apply his knowledge as well.
I'm just saying it's silly to discredit 99% of players completely like that.

For example you could say guys like Tom Brady and PL have something to prove in Injustice. But it doesn't matter. They're smart guys and they usually know what they're talking about even if they don't really place well with their main or they have a character crisis or whatever.

Let's say in MKX I play Kotal Khan and you come up to me to give me advice on MUs or general tips to improve my game. I'm not gonna be like: Hhmmm.. let's see this guy's recent tournament placings with Kotal Khan. Is he a top 3 Kotal Khan player? Nope. So I guess his opinion is irrelevant. Nah man I'm gonna listen to what you have to say.and if it makes sense I'll try to apply it to my game or at least think about it. I listen to everyone who has at least intermediate high level knowledge of the game/character.

Some guys are way better coaches/analysts than players. And the best players are not always the best coaches. And of course I'm not talking about the Terry brothers here since you guys are both some of the best players and best coaches lol. :)

Come On Die Young
Kitana beats Baraka 7-3 match up and Sonya beats Baraka 7-3 match up.
Idk how it goes with Sonya but Kitana definitely doesn't beat him 7-3. Unfortunately most Baraka players were kinda not good so it was just assumed she bodies him.

Khaotik's saying that even though he doesn't have the accomplishments in placement, he's beaten the same top players Bit has. I'm not implying one of them is better than the other, but I honestly don't think that skill level is necessarily equal to someone's tournament resume. I think skill level is shown by who you can beat and whether or not you can get those wins consistently, in and out of tournament, and Khaotik has proven himself with that. 16bit will always be "the kitana" because of what he did over MK's life, but they're probably not far apart in skill (but 16bit should be given precedence, even though he does do shitty combos ;) )

As far as LOTF and Murk goes, LOTF got a good result and you can't take that away from him. But Murk looks like the better player to me. It's not meant as like offensive or as downplaying results it's just how I feel as someone who understands higher level play (I think I do at least). I think there's a valid argument if you can prove yourself to other players even if you don't have the results. The "something to prove" is just for the rest of the community, to make everyone else accept it.

I'm saying dumb shit because I'm Myles. Blah blah blah...more dumb shit. Even more dumb shit. Can I add more dumb shit? Over a year of IGAU and frost players hasn't beat any notable players
Didnt Bit beat Wound? Didn't I beat KDZ? Didn't Astro beat Orochi? Didn't Claude beat Arma? All of that happened in a year if I recall correctly.

Let's vote on who is the best looking nightwing.... murk best looking and best nightwing????? oh damn LOTF get pwned

If I had the advantage of training with pig, saltface, etc thn it definitely would be no contest. I don't judge off of mirrors but since placing one time determines everything thn thats what I'll do at KIT. Im just a man that is more about consistency imo. It is what it is tho.

I love how people make statements like this off of seeing ONLY my matches at FR and in my first few months of playing online. Lol

Then you have more to prove since you have NO consistency.

I've played salt face one time in my life. I don't train with these guys but once every few months. That was all me baby

Trust and believe I was rooting for fly when he was playing. I was very happy he placed high at FR. As I said before, I have nothing against fly at all. This is just a harmless yet hype debate on our dicks.

Yeah, and I'm open to you being the better player too. I have wins where I'm not super proud of my play, and that happens. I just don't have anything else to go off. I could definitely change my mind, it's just what I feel right now. I want you to do well lol, it's not me trying to attack you

Haha thanks and I get what u mean. Kind of like tim duncan and Gregg popovich, one the outstanding player and the other the outstanding coach (which is why they have won 5 titles together #YEEEAAPPP)

You're right about me having to and I will...but u still have more working for u thn me. I literally have no way of properly training OFFLINE with anyone at the highest level but I will show it.
