Negative edge needs to be scrap'd!!!!

The point of negative edge is to make specials easier to chain into combos

MK9 uses dial-in strings!!!!

There is absolutely NO reason for negative edge

One thing i also really want to see the most is ENDURANCE MODE. Funnest thing on MKA for the wii and i would love to see it again. And they better not trash the whole roster or any of the fighters current moves though. I hate it when fighting games do that :/

Ya id really like if the move set for the current characters didn't change. It would be nice to have most of your experience carry over.

without the current negative edge... it would almost be impossible to have a normal footsie game, as the inputs would for a d4~special would be too fast to even be put in properly.

-Get rid of annoyingly repetitive 3 hit strings (ex. Liu Kang's BnB)
-I want a full story mode with 16 or so chapters, maybe even a few more neutral/evil characters. Only ones in this ones were Cyrax and Scorpion.
-I would like ladder to stay quite similar except maybe bring back larger ladders like before, where you face like 5000 enemies before you reach Shao Kahn.
-I would like character intros that are personal sometimes.
-Scorpion vs Sub Zero is: Scorpion "You will pay for the murder of my family", Sub-Zero is: "For Bi-Han!" after a moment of seriousness or something. You know, corny stuff that is related to the story. No Baraka vs Sindel or Jade vs Liu Kang stuff though, just for the real personal meet ups like Scorp/sub, mileena/kitana, kano/sonya, raiden/shinnok and so on.
-Friendships, brutalities, babalities and fatalities, Hara-kiris
-Get rid of annoyingly repetitive 3 hit strings (ex. Liu Kang's BnB)
-TRADING HITS SYSTEM;This games needs DRAW GAMES. Priority cannot be selected randomly, that is absolutely ridiculous.
-Motaro/Motaro boss fight
-How about the ability to search for players based on their True Skill rank? Like in SF, you could search for "any skill", "same skill" or "higher skill" players.
-And maybe add the ability to filter players by character usage. Like if you want to practice the KL or Raiden matchup you could just search for the best KL and Raiden players and test your skills against them.
-Cyber Smoke
-At least one "quick fatality" per character, where the animation takes 2-5 seconds, not 20sec.

Really broken jabs?
No offense man and not to derail but there are many ways around them, in fact, at high level they are a MUST. They give you defense/ofense but dont dumb down the game as most ppl say/think.

I used to hate them but unfortunately without them the game wouldn't have high level at all.....it would be more of a luck to win.....

True....One question remains tho....MK1 had them, Mk2 had them even tho you cannot really capitalize of kara jabs in Mk2, and UMK3 had them.....why did they keep that....maybe after MK1 they new that this is what will make MK different from anime fighters....

No run button please! I really like the dash system in MK9.

All I really want out of MK10 is a more traditional hit box system, better QnA testers to keep the glitches/bugs to a minimum, and a more creative use for EX moves (not just giving everyone armor on EX).

Pretty much this.

From a system perspective, I don't want much of anything to change, I just want refinement. 3D hit-boxes were a fun experiment, but they are just too inconsistent. Better QA can never go amiss. And more reason to spend meter on more moves would also be nice. The majority of EXs are completely useless. The rate damage scales in this game, extra damage isn't enough.

Dont forget that MK4 has them too and there they are MORE powerfull than in UMK.

[MENTION=5207]jamessmk[/MENTION] yes man Im totally aware they are a glitch, but IMO its those kind of glitch that "helps" the game develope more. Kind of what MVC2 is today, a glitchfest but very playable at high level (tier whoring aside).

Game almost same as MK9 which I love
Same combos maybe a couple more each character to make the transition easier. Past games have changed shit too much making you relearn an entire game. Street fighter keeps moves same so people can transition better, I see no reason MK can't do this.
Better Balance between characters.

More stages
Don't get cheesy with story, keep it mature and engaging without sprinking on the velveeta.

There's too damn many posts to read in this thread. Someone should compile a list of the most requested items (things that appear a certain number of times, like 3, 4, or 5) and let them be voted on so that it can be contained in one post for everyone to see. Something like that.

True and don't ever expect it to be gone. 3 million copies. Unless, we all bought 5 copies each, there are a lot a people that play for fun. And they like negative edge.
