Since we are getting close we should cut off the sign ups to 64 people and keep promoting for subs since I guarantee we'll need at least 10 and probably more. Turnout is looking great and I think when we arrange a big one the outcome will be double.

i agree with shock once we hit 64 players we are gonna have to call it quits and i'll be adding up to 10 subs for anyone who wants to play considering some people might have work or something might just pop up but the subs will be needed all day on the 20th and the 21rst i would imagine especially if we don't know when someone will not be showing up

64 players is a lot for only a handful of mods, and I can't promise I'll be available even to play because of the way work has been going. It's enough to get a big tournament going like this and make sure it runs smoothly. Brackets are going to be fun!

There's ways to set up refs apparently, I have to talk to Sy Illusions about it.

Can't you just do Versus Challanger, Have the Ref Stay The whole time and then Have the Ref Invite the 2 people in. And You can Have up to 4 people so...

Filmer

Swap out the 2 Players When the Match is over.

I think the filmer can also "ref" but I don't know if it would be possible to do all the games one immediately after another like that.

Yea you can, Its really simple. Ok these 2 guys are done, write the results and if the next 2 guys are online invie them in. Test round for Connection, Then go Again for the real game. Not too hard.

Yes, now imagine doing that 64 times (for single elimination). Inviting, testing, playing, recording (if it's neccesary). It's not going to be quick and dandy. Not everyone is going to be online at one time waiting possibly over an hour for their turn. POOP will work something out. I have faith! :D

i dunno if i should sign up im still not very good.... im experimenting with usub and of course im good with scorp and robosmoke(every noob is)....

can u explain to me how u are good with scorpion? ive never seen a good scorpion just a someone who knows the game itself they were not good with scorpion but they were good at playing defensively

Yea, Good Scorpions are Defensive ones, but even then Its just a Crippled Human Smoke.

I've said it many times, unless you just really love Scorpion's fatalities, then avoid him at all costs. You can get twice the damage Scorpion can put out with Human Smoke, almost just as easily.

Unless you are some uber god player like Shock or Dreemer, then yes, there is such thing as cheap. I don't care what anyone says. It's my opinion and I'm sticking to it!

Although there isn't many cheap things in UMK3, there certainly are a few tactics/moves that can be abused to the point of being cheap.
