Why dont people play sets?

MashBot

You're over matched.
I wish someone would run a set with me. After I beat the brakes off them they try and spam me out then leave. Only ran sets twice a WW and an shazam. Other then I'm Always looking for a 1st to ten hit me up if you wanna play

I rarely have the opportunity to play sets because Player Matches are chock full of stat padders that decline me even though my record is only 850ish - 550ish. Survivor and KOTH lobbies tend to be lag fests since someone with a Wal-Mart connection or is overseas will join the lobby and ruin it. Another thing that annoys me in Player Match is that many people will either leave after 1 loss or hide their cursor to try to counter-pick and will rage quit if I hide my cursor in response.

I hate playing Ranked because the matchmaking system is non-existent. One would think that NRS would've included region, skill, and connection filtering since games that came out in 2007, such as Virtua Fighter 5 have filtering options. Of course there are also a lot of players that hide in Ranked and abuse the feedback system since it's random who one is matched with.

TL;DR version - The Injustice community sucks.

Although I've only been playing online for the past couple of days (oh god it's a terrible lagfest) I always hit rematch whether I bodied the opponent, got bodied or had a very close match. The way I see it:

1) If I got bodied, I want more MU experience
2) If I destroyed the opponent, he/she needs more MU experience
3) If it's a close match, holy fuck someone of equal skill keep playing!

More often than not I'll only get a rematch on #1 :/. Half tempted to just throw the first match in the hope they rematch me and then stick around.

I dont play online ever ust because of my terrible connection.

But whether offline or online I always prefer to play around 20-30 games at least. This is the only way you truly learn MUs, at least IMO.

its soo hard to play a set online against someone. You get declinded 10x then when you find a match the person leaves after one lost

Ya know, some ppl online only care about ranked points, while others get one lucky win and refuse to play more games in a FT5 because they are afraid to lose 5-0 just for instance. Of course not everyone is like this.
I for one whenever I face someone really strong in Injustice I try to ask those players for a FT5 or Ft10 like I did recently once again vs Ryumanjisen who is probably the strongest player I have played so far on PSN. He is also a member of TYM.
Others like T-Pod send me a hatemail in ranked because I outplayed his Superman completely by full screen DS gameplay ( for sure I won't play close range vs Superman with DS ) and he was annoyed by that and send a hatemail and unsubscibed to me because he said, "wow what a lame B***** playstyle F*** off and I thought you were good, I lost the respect of you"
Then I send him an invite to a FT10. His Black Adam was solid, but I beat him 10-8, aber 8-5 in my favor he started to pick Scorpion.
Damn I hate ppl like this, but after I won the set he sent me a GG message, but I mean really why do ppl like this always want proof of how good someone is?

Anyway like I above stated I for one FT5 or FT10 vs anyone who wants to play and I am always glad when facing strong players.
I asked you to play me after I beat your DS and you didnt respond even tho I said I think youre DS is solid and I wanna play you more often to learn the MU since back then I didnt know alot of DS

I think the real issue is most players online are looking "for the win".

I can only speak for myself, but when i play online, i play to have fun, tryout new tech and setups, etc. I can win or lose 50 in a row, i dont care.

But then again, im biased because I have an offline scene to play with. If I only had online, then I might think different, but I doubt it.

Moral of the story...if people cared less about record, or winning a FT whatever, then maybe we could all play long sets.

I've noticed a trend. Online warriors usually have more than one account. They wait until one account gets into top 100 then they switch accounts to maintain their stats. I like the idea of no chat ranked sets.

I only played ranked for yellow lantern hal,but now I only do player matches and I keep going until my opponent leaves. The only way to level up your game is to run sets and fight with experienced players. The best lesson is one gained from a great fight and an epic loss not a fast fight and an empty win.

Story of my online Injustice experience. I don't even want to win half of the time because most people leave after one, which is retarded.
