Why dont people play sets?

I prefer to only play sets with people from TYM. That way I know for a fact that there wont be any bullshit or hate mail.

I hate this even more. I'd rather they "one and run" me. Because around the second match I start getting turnt up, until the son of a bitch leaves. All my momentum is out the window. >_>

I try to find decent players online in ranked but when I run into one 90% of the time they wont play outside of ranked. What is so good about ranked that players refuse to play outside of it? Is it because I'm a stranger? Seriously, you really don't get better playing ranked. It's catered towards gimmicky playstyles and one trick pony's.

i love playing long sets. win or lose. every time i play a good game on ranked, i invited that person to a private match and they NEVER accept . i stick to playing with people on this site.

Ive found that 99% of the time if a player isnt on TYM, he or she is likely an S-Rank asshole.

Play people on TYM.

I can't play sets because I'm forced to play ranked games. Every single person in player matches declines my damn game and I have no clue why. W/L ratio is like 65%, Nearly 200 player matches, never rage quit. I play WW and have her set as the emblem and background of my player card. Good connection. Level 72, and that's with around 15 levels gained via the Flash trick in the Hall of Justice.

Its makes me angry to no end. I usually try player matches first until my fifth decline in a row, then I go to ranked or KOTH. Any ideas on this? Anybody?

Maybe its because on pan people are looking for scrubs or too good people to blow them up and learn from it

The real question here is why the fk is everyone fkn playing koth, like really? Its like 80% of the ppl online play that shit, like do u really have time to burn like that? In mk9 u could join a room and send invites and receive challenges all day for 1v1's, i want some back to back games, not play 1 game and wait 15-20 mins for a re, its hell finding matches if ur friends arent on. I dont get on koth unless im cheifing, drinking, watching a tournament being streamed, or just in a KOTH full of beast ass players..

Ya know, some ppl online only care about ranked points, while others get one lucky win and refuse to play more games in a FT5 because they are afraid to lose 5-0 just for instance. Of course not everyone is like this.
I for one whenever I face someone really strong in Injustice I try to ask those players for a FT5 or Ft10 like I did recently once again vs Ryumanjisen who is probably the strongest player I have played so far on PSN. He is also a member of TYM.
Others like T-Pod send me a hatemail in ranked because I outplayed his Superman completely by full screen DS gameplay ( for sure I won't play close range vs Superman with DS ) and he was annoyed by that and send a hatemail and unsubscibed to me because he said, "wow what a lame B***** playstyle F*** off and I thought you were good, I lost the respect of you"
Then I send him an invite to a FT10. His Black Adam was solid, but I beat him 10-8, aber 8-5 in my favor he started to pick Scorpion.
Damn I hate ppl like this, but after I won the set he sent me a GG message, but I mean really why do ppl like this always want proof of how good someone is?

Anyway like I above stated I for one FT5 or FT10 vs anyone who wants to play and I am always glad when facing strong players.

I wouldn't mind playing you in a few on psn, it won't be on this account cause I lost the email info for it, but I play g.l and it sounds like a good possibility of interesting games. wont be on till a lot later today.

I almost exclusively play sets and feels its the best way for me to learn match ups and improve overall! Add me if you would like.

I gave up on random player matches. Full of frauds with amazing win/loss ratio who always decline. Sometimes they play 1 game with scorpion and quit after the first game.
Ranked has better players but i really dont like the waitingtime. And its only 1 game.
So usually im just playing ppl from my friendlist.

Cause 90% of the people that play this game are total scrubs. They get one lucky win and feel that they are so good they won't risk you destroying them if you played a set lol.
