Really nice advice though, I like it and there's not much of anything to add to it.
Its one thing to consistently do a combo against a character that just stands there. Its another entirely to do so on an opponent that fights back. Its not just about the combos, its about figuring out a way to open your opponent up, make a good read, throw out that one poke that fucks the person's game up for a second.
Cryptix921 start with the basics. Learn a short combo or two and perhaps some starters from the air/crossup as well. Then just try to defend your opponent's attacks and let them be the one to screw up before attempting a punish with one of your short combos. Its not just about attacking in this game, as there is so much more to it than that. I don't want to rail you with different uses of meter, just try and figure out a good EX move or two and perhaps incorporate them into your combos. After you've played with your short combos you can attempt some longer ones and really develop your game further with the other uses for meter. (armor bounce/overhead, pushblock, etc. )
