DS2 without a shield was never that bad. Once you figure out when to roll and such, its pretty straightforward imo.I made it to nationals as a child playing MtG, and in a year of playing local tournaments every week never came less than third (but usually first). The organisers moved town so my scene sorta died out a little and I lost interest, but guess I was decent at that. On a similar tabletop note I've won every 40k tournament I've entered, so not bad there either.
I was in the top 50 Eve Online players for the majority of my playtime and I beat the guy know as the best player (winner of like every single one of their tournaments to date at that point, basically the sonicfox of Eve) live on stage in a 1v1
When I played Pokemon competitively I was generally sat in the top 100 on the ladder, but this one may not be so challenging
There's a bunch of games I THINK I was really good at. But in hindsight I don't actually really know, I mean I could beat my friends buy that probably doesn't mean a lot just that I'd played more than them. Games like Tony Hawks Pro Skater, Need for Speed Underground 2, Halo 1, etc
I'm above 4k MMR on Dota which isn't huge but is decent and puts me in the top 1%-5% globally I believe.
Calibrated Platinum on Starcraft and got close to Diamond I believe. Still something I've gotta pick back up.
I THINK I'm good at Dark Souls, but I'm not really sure. My friend who plays literally nothing but the Souls games gets me to beat bosses he can't clear (like Smough and Ornstein on NG+ ) and I've beaten all their games starting with Demon Souls now, and beat DS2 without ever using a shield which people told me would be crazy hard
There's a bunch of games out there in decent at but don't play enough to really call myself dope at. And I guess you could say I'm good at MKX.
Oh my god I love that gameTransformers: war for cybertron
Mk3 on xband for snes and genesis and umk to a degree (cant beat reo, cdsr or shock ) but smfh that was and still is ny shit. I dont use glitch jabs i use my jax and do me!!what r all games u were real good at/high level at. Or even top by rankings/tournament. I was actually never really a gamer, still not but a few ones I really liked
Team fortress classics - my favorite game for real. If console released, mk would b no more. LEX u and me prob ran into eachother at one time b4 2005 lol
Starcraft - the original. only strategy game I liked. my record was crazy
Fatal fury 2 - played the most as a kid on console but discovered on mame. wish it was more popular
Mortal kombat 2 - briefly one of the best on mame. Won an online tourny and was part of rawmk2 forums which was the bad boy place. Lol full of all asshole high level mk2 kings. Banned from trmk for bullying...however the mods don't remember all this lol. Mk2 player n moderator x820 befriended me n put me back on that forum while starting ultimate mk3. Silasomega, foozer, kanomk2, kensidj thnks 4 memories
Ultimate mk3 - started in late summer 2010. People on mame were harsh. Assumed that's how casual play was cuz game was so fast but didn't kno till later every1 was top of the tops minus few xbl only players. 2 online tourny wins, 4 offline altho maybe video game con shouldn't count at this point lol so 3
Mortal kombat trilogy - used 2 play on play station original. definitely not top...forgot lots of properties but anytime I get 2 play offline I do ok.
After mk9, sold my console in 2012 for gas money at a desperate time lol. No chance 2 play new games yet but when 360 swaps to xboxone I'll buy it. NO DOUB7 will b backk
If we're talking no video games I body people in uno connect 4 and monopolyMost people are keeping it in the video game scene, but the first game I was ever good at was the Yu-Gi-Oh card game. Only went to an few locals which I did pretty well at but some of my most nostalgic memories come from that game
Yeah I actually think it made some bosses easier, having power stance to just tear through em. Shield definitely makes area maps easier however, and would have come in handy on certain bosses like last sinnerDS2 without a shield was never that bad. Once you figure out when to roll and such, its pretty straightforward imo.
Seriously man, CS has a way of taking your life over like no other game.Counter-Strike 1.6
That's the only game I've ever seriously competed in. Wasn't CAL-I level, but I was extremely solid and played on a number of teams until I had to quit in order to get my life back.
Hours and hours and hours of scrims, practice, etc.
Def jam FFNY was the shit! Sean Paul was my favourite. And I loved the parking lot map with the two vehicles where you could smash the hood onto your opponents head.Gotham City Imposters I was number 5 on the Psych Warfare leaderboard and like 140 overall. I easily put around 600 hours into that game.Really sad that the game has died out (at least on console) me and most of the other top player would just pub stomp for hours but we all stopped after the only game mode being played still was TDM.
Def Jam FFNY Me and my high school buddies had a blast playing this game kicked all their asses 90% of the time. Ialso managed to knock someone out in 6 seconds but somehow my brother did it in 4 and I still have the record saved on my original Xbox.
NFL Street2\Nba Street 2 I would say i was better at NFL Street but I also kicked some ass in NBA Street.
Gow3 and GowJ broken ass games. Such a shame too cause Gears is awesome.i was a tank at all Gears of War games. my weapon of choice was the longshot rifle. however, i cut back on Gears big time due to all the frustration and headache it caused me.
