We had players from all over the country at FV, FV shouldnt be consider a regional, and this is not a mk9 monthly tournament like egp, this tournament has been announced for months and possibly there will be plans of making it a mk9 major only stop the hate west coast telling nfg not to rank FV, i know you are the ones behind all this, at egp you see the same people every month, and tyrant kicking everyone's arses, is not that i care about the points not being given, but the selfishness and hate of a group of people, you will pay for this at MLG let the beef begin you will all fail, none of you will make even top 8, maybe one of you will be spared depending on how that person acts from now on, it will be sad seeing so many new yorkers taking over on cali once again, get ready for war

I'm all for a "WAR." I love the competition, and I cant wait to own the shit out of you at MLG.

However, I also happen to think its fucked up that you would even believe we had anything to do with the NFG rankings. Your boy VSM Tom Brady was the catalyst behind you not being ranked. We honestly don't give a shit about that list, and quite frankly, if you believe FV deserves anymore than our EGP regional's, then you're lame. We worked twice as hard on getting the West Coast together for these. NorCal, SoCal, Vegas, and Phoenix are farther spread out than your EC nation. Were also better, so HOLLA BACK!

If you guys thought FOREVER KING vs Tom Brady was epic, watch VSM Insuperable vs Kevo Da Man. That had to be one of the most intense and hype series in the history of MK9. Why is it not on YouTube? :/

Our HDMI to Component converter broke the day of the event so we couldn't get any data into the PVR, this is also why the stream was unfortunately shot entirely via camera instead of with HD video form the PVR. We sent someone out to buy a new converter but they accidentally acquired a Component to HDMI converter, SWBeta personally left the tourney at this point to try and get the correct converter but couldn't find one anywhere. So sadly, none of the fighters were capped. However our Media guys recorded EVERY fight with their DSLRs, I'll work with them on getting it uploaded ASAP!

As for the NFGRankings, I think there is lot of confusion as to exactly what FV was intended to be, I'm about to hop on an airplane so can't post all I want right now, but I'll be working a response while I'm in the air.

I don't think anyone is scared to say facts. The opinions are usually what are not heard. What you are saying is all an opinion. Unless you consistently beat each of those players in tournaments, I really don't think there should be shit talking. But yes I understand, hype is hype.

-Each should have points because of the level of competition.
-FV wont happen every month. Hell my first tournament was hosted by MAK and it had like 17 people. which was back in jan.
-I'm terrible with kabal.

Why do you feel the need to look down on me because of the hitbox? I told you I was even better on pad. The hitbox has been tough for me the past month and I've been sticking with it. I have all my stuff down, all I need is match up experience. Now I can focus on match ups more. I was doing so at this tournament. I didn't get the match up experience I wanted to with kabal there but I can't complain. You need to understand this. Besides nova, I don't have anyone else to play with. That will change as soon as I get enough money for a car.

In the Kombat Tomb Podcast, there was an issue about the egp tournaments and fv. In fairness, I believe those guys thought it would be the best move. I don't blame them but I do feel like FV should get points, even though the points don't even matter. Seeing how people are going crazy over a list is silly. If you think you are good, go to a tournament and prove it. You don't need a ranking system to know you can win. Also, I didn't say both had equal competition. I can't decide that because I'm not a high level player. I do agree on FV being harder but that is just my opinion.

Back to the hixbox thing
I figured someone like you wouldn't see it as something bad. There is no difference between pad, stick or hitbox. Someone with your level of play should have realized that. Reo is the perfect example for the hitbox drama. I switched to hitbox because I love being on the more technical side of things. Its taking me a while to get used to but I'm getting there.

I had respect for you as a kabal player but you giving me shit about something small killed it for me. I'm not bad, I'm new. I lack massive match up experience because of how late I started. Next tournament I'll fucking prove it to you that I'm not bad.

First of all PL should of been of the list he was enactive for like six decades and he wasnt the highest rank player at the time Reo And Cd was thats a fact Osu Slips and the rest are really good the toruney was Strong and i think they deserve Points as well but that week end Apex was going on and was way stronger then Frosty but here Powerup is the less stronger tourney and got points thats all im saying idc if u give both the points but dont look down on a tourney that has stronger comp becuz of your bias

You're facts are actually opinions. How can you prove both events had great competition? I think they did, but I can't prove it. How is it a fact they should have points? What is a fact is that fv isn't an evo major; thus not included. Pu only had one player ranked in the top 10 while fv had 3, fact. You being bad is also your opinion based on your own standards. Yes, someone winning a tournie that had 100 players deserves to get more points than someone winning a tournie of 40 people, but the tournie of 40 people still deserve points as well.

Maybe a system should be set up by which the more rounds/pools there are, the more points you get.

Well we were going to and in the process of making an official TYM rankings list. But people seemed to not have interest. Now people seem to think the NFG rankings are law. I'm confused.
