UPDATE: Boon reveals clue #6: Olivia Newton John - Can you figure it out?

well i was thinking and if the dlc content being released sticks to the same pattern it has been then we can assume that there will be 2 more hereos and one more villain, since its obvious that in this game scorpion is a villain and will be moved to the villain side. ( his star lab missions and storyline in this game state that he is working for quan chi and is to kill superman)

that being said i doubt that zatanna or black canary or any other female hero will be released because batgirl (waste of a slot imo) has already filled the female hero spot and the pattern when the game came out showed 3 female characters on each side. therefore if a female character is released as the 6th dlc it could be power girl ( i hope not) or star sapphire. ( star in video clue)

reasons why it could be Dr. Fate
- "the cars magic song clue" - dr. fate uses magic
- ed boon has stated he pefers dr. fate over zatanna
- zatanna is a hero not a villain and having two female heroes will throw the pattern of equal female characters on each side off ( you can thank batgirl for that one)
- dr fate has been hinted before on boon's twitter via a pic

It doesn't make sense that Power Girl could be the sixth, but Zatanna or Black Canary couldn't.... Power Girl is always a hero too. Star Sapphire kind of makes sense. But she's been seen as more of a hero for awhile now. And she's not nearly as requested as the other three females mentioned here.

true.....i just dont see them adding another female hero and leaving it unbalance with 4 females on one side and only 3 on the other.

It's one of those things that I can see them letting slip in this case. I don't think they'll snuff on the hero/villain ratio, if only to fill up both new columns from the DLC on each side. But maybe not. Cheetah, Circe, or Poison Ivy are really the only valid candidates for a female villainess though. I wouldn't be mad at any of them getting in.

idk we'll just have to wait and see. I wouldn't mind if they added any of those canidates either but i feel they wont because although cheetah would be perfect for a fighting, game it might be too similair to catwomen, circe probably not for she is not as popular as the others and poison ivy would be cool but the fact that many do not want any more batman characters because of how batman heavy the game is i doubt the will make her. with this being said, i feel star sapphire would be a good candidate because many want another latern character such atrocitus so she could somewhat fill that need as well as the need for a female villain.

I just don't see that happening. Not enough want another lantern that isn't Atrocitus. Many didn't want more Batman characters before and they still released Batgirl. That's just my personal opinion though. Star Sapphire doesn't seem much more likely than even Circe. Cheetah is a small possibility. They could make her different, they've managed it with Superman and Zod, Shazam and Black Adam, as well as others that would be seemingly similar. Who knows though. I personally don't think they'll do a female villain, unfortunately.

Dunno why people are so obsessed with Red Hood, you've got the skin, thats enough, he's not that interesting.

Black Cannary and Zantana are meh characters. Fate is a great character. Black Manta would be amazing too.

I think they should put in something special, top tier superhero wise, someone like Darkseid.

Power Girl and Bizzarro should be alternate skins for Superman with reverse inputs for bizzaro and new voice acting for both.

Guy Gardner should be another skin for lantern.

Arkillo should be another skin for Sinestro.

They could make this game so awesome, i hope that they don't screw up the next dlc choices.

Sub Zero shouldn't be in it. Boon said nore more MK anyway didn't he?

Too be fair, and just from my personal readings (and all my friends who read comics), Marvel is also just all around better at writing female characters.

So while they DO have the sex-appeal, they also tend to be better written as a character and so it's overlooked because at least they're not just there to look good.

DC doesn't have as strong a track record in that department (although they do get better at times). Prime example is Red Hood & The Outlaws. Starfire was literally just a set of tits for the first roughly 7 issues. But then she actually started being written as more than just fan service and became a like-able character.

I think people want Jason Todd, not Joker in a mask. I mean... Him not being interesting is a matter of preference, but that's really the difference here.


And Boon also said there'd be no MK characters in the game at all...
So yeah, I think there's a saying about a "grain of salt" that applies here.
