Beware my power.
Am I seeing characters tech combos with some type of meterburn?
* 0:37 for grodd; ~1:30 for batman

Same here, maybe a new combo breaker system?? that would be awesome instead of pushblockAm I seeing characters tech combos with some type of meterburn?
I understand where you are coming from, but given that they said that the roster will be bigger than before, and most likely with many newer characters, it's probably due that, so, if older characters looking the same feels underwhelming, at least there will be a good amount(i think) of new characters with new moves to enjoy.That's definitely not what I expected form NRS. Haven't characters always had entirely different normals from game to game or am I just forgetting?
It'll be *really* interesting to see what kind of overall system changes and fine adjustments NRS is going to make to things like this...and what the new characters can bring to the table.$100 says MB Trident Rush will return in all its former glory. Chip damage, meter build and safety.
I think Grodd does it as well against Supergirl.At a minute 29 in the reel, it looked like Batman did a burst or something today et out of a jiggle from Grodd. It may just be the picture on my phone being Hank though can't tell.
You sound like an MK9 Kenshi main circa March 2015.$100 says MB Trident Rush will return in all its former glory. Chip damage, meter build and safety.
I'm in favor, hopefully there's some other prerequisite to breaking other than just having 1 meter..also nobody used push lock anyway so nobody will miss it if it's replacedSame here, maybe a new combo breaker system?? that would be awesome instead of pushblock
maybe a trait? like a zod summonAt 0:40 the cat (Dex something?) attacks, and at 0:45 he goes. Probably a summon and not some piece of gear, as some people especulated.
Push block was essential in Injustice 1. It was used very commonly. Especially against Doomsday/Batgirl.I'm in favor, hopefully there's some other prerequisite to breaking other than just having 1 meter..also nobody used push lock anyway so nobody will miss it if it's replaced
Exactly this, right here.I remember when they showed MKX at E3 the very first time, the returning characters had completely different normals and animations.
Didn't think of this, it is the most likely. Also, he starts the round with it at 0:16maybe a trait? like a zod summon
maybe, JUST MAYBE, this is Alpha gameplay and the final version won't be out until 2017....Why do Batman, Superman and Aquaman have absolutely the same stances and animations?..
Pushblock was used all the time at the highest levels. I remember people like saltface, jupiter, ducky, and pig used it all the time.I'm in favor, hopefully there's some other prerequisite to breaking other than just having 1 meter..also nobody used push lock anyway so nobody will miss it if it's replaced
