A lot of salt going around lately about different characters, so I thought it would be fun to create a thread about it. Should be interesting seeing the different choices, on top of the obvious ones.

I’ll start. Most Hated:

1. Scorpion (without a doubt)
2. Geras
3. Erron Black

My most hated:

1. Jade (most downplayed character that is ridiculously good)
2. Liu Kang (God Tier online)
3. Cetrion (when I’m not using Scorpion lol)
4. Honorable mention - Scrub-Zero

My least hated:

1. Kotal Kahn (After you know all the gimmicks I love playing against him)
2. Baraka (I just really know the MU)
3. Shang (He just doesn’t have too much “oh shit what do I do” stuff. Just a decent zoner with decent damage)

Scorpion because, duh?
Geras, pretty much why I hated atrocitus in I2 but I'd much rather face him than geras.
Sub Zero, literally braindead 50/50s.
Erron black, having an answer to everything while being safe on almost everything is an issue.

Meh: Sonya, Saibot, Liu Kang, Jacqui

Most hated:

Jacqui - I always get bodied by her cancels
Jade - I hate her zoning, and it's so difficult to play footsies against her...
Liu Kang - I must have some trauma about him, because as far as I remember I have hated him and his bicycle kick since my first mk -> umk3

Honorable mentions: Sub Zero, Kung Lao

Least hated (not including my main & secondary):

Sonya - unpopular opinion, I know, but I love the Kano vs Sonya matchup, and it's a classic lorewise
Johnny Cage - another fun matchup
Jax - I find some kind of pleasure in the sound of his hits, even when it's me who is hit (¿masochism?)

Kabal, he's soo honest, i know he has 2 or 3 mix up but the character is strong and fair
Shao, he's so awesome in this game and my respect for people playing him is to the star, chapeu
Johnny, same as above, i don't know how but JC players just manage to make him safe forever, can't win shit
Special, Shang: i feel that he's strong, well designed and good looking ingame

One question to everyone hating Sub Zero: Do you hate fighting him generally or is it because of dead of winter? I feel like thin ice is pretty honest...?

(Yes, I do play thin ice Sub, but he’s not my main )

My answers are character/story related. No gameplay disadvantages /playstyle etc...

Most hated in this game: Cetrion , Jaqcui , Cassie & Erron. Yes, four!
I'm not a Deborah fan either but she has the "love to hate" role in the MK franchise that is kindly appreciated .

Starting to dislike Scorpion as well because of the over-promotion/brainwashing as of the last 2 or 3 games .
