Trust me, I'm a doctor
Feel free to post your loadout ideas and tags here for other people who have picked up the game and are either looking for other team mates or specific role keepers for their matches.
For example, this is my idea for both a "Grunt" set-up as well as an "Anti-titan" set-up.
"Grunt Work"
- MK5 Smart Pistol + Suppressor
- Charge Beam / Mag Launcher
- B3 Wingman
- Cloak
- Satchel Charge
- Power Cell
- Minion Detector
Best used with:
"Thin the Ranks"
"Fast Learner"
Basically, this set is made for running through sets of grunts and spectres quietly and taking build time off of your titan. At 1 point a piece, removing the trash on the side with the quick multi-lock will help you build huge exp (as the smart pistol auto-locks on headshots on grunts) for newer players, and against other players who maybe aren't keeping an eye on their flanks, you can keep them in sight and pound in a few shots. Thanks to the huge damage on the wingman, you only have to lock two shots and then swap for the final shot with your revolver. This is also decent against Titans due to the explosive power it has, but its not the best.
If done correctly, you can build up around 30-40 minion kills inbetween Titanfalls which will result in 30-40 points for your team. Needless to say this is quite a decent advantage if you have two players doing it. Every 4 minion kills equals out to one pilot kill, and you can scoop up 3 or 4 minions per wave. While killing one-another is great, the real point income comes in the form of Grunt work. (Assuming you are on attrition).
"Attack on Titans"
- Spitfire + Slammer (sweet jesus)
- Mag Launcher
- B3 Wingman
- Cloak
- Satchel Charge
- Explosive Pack
- Deadman's Trigger
Best used with:
"Surplus Satchels"
"Titan Salvage"
This build is specifically for Titan breaking via "rodeo". The process is simple: You rodeo on, and assuming you can avoid the electric smoke and other titans scratching you off you unload an entire LMG mag into the opposing titan's circuits. In the case that it doesn't kill, you leave three satchel charges on them and jump away. Switch to your mag launcher, and start pelting the machine, detonating the charges with the double reload input which will usually doom any Titan type when done correctly. Since going into your own titan refreshes your supply, having an auto-titan set to follow mode will allow you to potentially doom an opposing titan with a distraction to boot, and then hop right into yours and back out allowing for free detonation devices.
The best part is, if the opponent tries to leave his/her titan, you can drop 1 charge and jump away from it. Then, when they proceed to climb back in, detonate the charge to kill them. If you're fast enough, you can even kill them on the way out.
My Xbone tag is NiceDoombawkz. Lets have some fun!
