That also deactivates the auto uploads for your normal save file. You can disable the automatic uploads. If you're on PS4, it's in the settings under Application Saved Data Magagement > Saved Data in Online Storage i think. hit the options button on MKX and uncheck "Auto Uploads" or whatever it is.
Yeah. I almost put in MK9 the other for Sektor.Sektor.
This so muchSektor.
Yeah I am aware of that. I play on stick. That's why it would've been nice to have that option. It really does suck for me because my fingers are the size of Italian hot sausages. Plinking & pianoing around them at the wrong time means a dropped combo or the difference between a win and a loss. I understand the 2 command method & I use 1,3 for grabs but 1,2 when your executing forward or back1,2,1 or 2,1,2 it can be dicey at times. Like I said the option would be nice but I've learned to adapt and even use some of the interactibles in pretty funky ways in and out of my combosI think the 1+2 interactable and 1+3 throw commands are there so people who are used to claw grip could play the game by mapping block and stance switch to the left hand triggers as well as catering to stick players. IMO there should be an option to allow/disallow all of the 2 button inputs separately.
I'm there with you...I tweeted them asking if they could add this as well so hopefully it's taken into consideration.Option to turn off the jump scares in the Krypt. I'll freely admit to being a huge wuss and all I want to do is unlock stuff that should be unlocked in the first place without bracing myself every 5 seconds.
OMG i just played that stage for the first time with lightening (like my 800th match, weird, but anyway) I had a mini seizure when I was corner pressuring and the lightning struck. I don't think thats a good thing for a map to do xDBeing able to turn off certain weather effects like in Sky Temple, lightning irritates my eyes especially in the left corner and the rain makes certain effects rough to see. I'll likely just request other players not to pick that stage.
Something else I posted in a different thread that I feel applies here.So here's something I thought about.
This game sorely needs a way, way better tutorial system.
Yesterday, when playing in a KOTH with three men older than I with kids, they had no idea how to get past Necromancer Shinnok's zoning. I went on a 14 game win streak before getting fed up with trying to explain how to deal with it.
They would even go back and say that MK9 was a better fighter because there were invincible wakeups. (Try not to laugh here.)
Truth is, look at all the bad players a month in, into rank match. Or anywhere. Yes, the NRS scene attracts the most casuals due to the nostalgia factor MK brings, but they aren't really taught how to deal with situstions like this. They get taught mechanics.
NRS needs to go the Skullgirls route in the future, which is explain how to deal with mids, how to deal with highs and lows, and this especially applies to zoning.
You can look up all the combo vids in the world, but even NuckleDu, an experienced USF4 player who's sponsored by Team Liquid did not know you could just simply duck the machine gun shots and then go in, occasionally blocking an EX missile at Texas Showdown 2015.
I remember Max (yes, again try not to laugh) saying something of the sort that new fighters NEED tutorial/trial mode systems like these. I agree, because I have not met a single casual player yet who did not previously play past NRS titles well know what they are doing.
Just my two cents. You can look up all the Tom Brady & REO, Ketchup vids... But not all new players are going to know where to look for that info and I feel like NRS should be obligated to teach people about the game they made just as much.
I really like the SG tutorial system. Not only does it teach you basic and advanced game mechanics, it also gives you a brief breakdown of what each character can do.Something else I posted in a different thread that I feel applies here.
Not a bad idea IMO. I know Guilty Gear XRD recently patched this in.A small input buffer for normals would be neat, I think. Maybe like 3 frames. The game would hold up better online, and it would lower the execution barrier for a lot of players.
Does this differ from the tech rolls that are already in the game?IMO, a 3rd Strike style backroll out of soft knockdowns would really open up the game.
Mostly that in 3S, you can roll out of everything (except out of a super, everything aside from those is a soft knockdown in that game).Does this differ from the tech rolls that are already in the game?
