She used to be my mk2 main back in the arcade, so I'd hate not having her.
On the flipside, Mileena has a track record of being dumb and annoying to fight against, plus we've had her in every game and all she's ever done was "nyihehehe, let's have fun" and "I'm the empress" and she's kind of getting old. That, and Vora killed her, though it could have just been yet another clone.
I remember back in the day when she wasn't liked that much in MK4. I liked her, but people were mad because of her ending lol
Then came the 3D era and Tanya was simply an awful character all around.
But in MKX it seems NRS redeemed her, with a really cool design and a effective and fun set of moves. I'm all for more Tanya!

She's also one of the only real female villains in the series, not misunderstood or under anyone's control but actually just a stone cold bitch. I think she's a lot of fun.

I like Stryker he's the captain America of the franchise,I like kobra he's Bucky barnes in the franchise to support these characters guys.you are humans and not reptiles or amphibians.

I'd be satisfied if we could get even one post trilogy character that wasn't playable in MK9 or MKX. Preferable Fujin since he's been teased since MK9 and he'd actually make sense to be in the main story with the whole Dark Raiden. And then maybe 2 or 3 more added as DLC afterwards.
The majority of those characters were so underdeveloped that if they were brought back and revamped, they would pretty much be new characters. Almost half of them shot generic fireballs and had terribly animated kicking/punching specials. Hell Tanya was initially pretty bland and generic and didn't start to stand out more until MKX.
First of all, i want to thank you all who participated in this regardless the bunch of roster threads that probably exists around in this forum, you all hold a special place in my heart.
Since it would feel unfair to every character voted, just wanted to say that a 7 character pick list logged exactly 477 regists just from TYM alone and in this 477 logs, it created an unrealistic roster with 61 characters.
So for this thread we will going to see:
the top 26 most wanted characters to return in the franchise. 26 Because this tie has the exact same number of votes i asked to make the list with so 7 votes are what we wil start with, anyone higher than that had less votes than 7.
So the Top 10 characters is what we will add to the Reveal roster and see how it looks, if one of the top 10 is already in the game, add the next one on the list.

These are the characters with the higher votes, some of them are no surprise at all, yet some of them are which is will kinda suck if they don't make into the game. You can take this top 10 and to the reveal roster on Jan 17 and see how it looks, if any of this characters are in the base roster, pick the 11th character an so on.
Nightwolf
The first top 10 character, and in the last minute he got votted as crazy, before him Skarlet was the on the top 10, "Nike" takes the spot with that extra vote on the last hours, which made me very happy since is among one of the most underrated characters in francise.
Mileena
Such a high popularity, it seems death cannot take out this character still highy voted as well up to 17 votes
Sareena
One of the highest votes in the franchise goes to This demon right here, scoring even Higher than Mileena and Skarlet, it seems its finally time to bring her back. Tota Votes 18.
Shang Tsung
Speechless, with Quan's death its only normals we get to see Shang (we hope) as he is one of the most highest votted characters in the poll. total of 19 votes
Jade
Its not surprise at all that Jade is highly expected to return, she lands as the 6th character on this poll and as well the highest voted female character on the poll. Also noting that the pic shown here its her MKX mobile costume, though MK9 one was also pretty good. 20 votes

I gotta say, this one blew me away, wasn't expecting which makes me a lot happier

The Kleric of Chaos made his way into the freaking TOP 5 with 24 votes, it makes me extremely happy that the community understands how much of a gem this guy is, i mean, if his style in Konquest from MK Deception an his personality hasn't really changed your perspective i don't know what will.
Fujin
Pretty sure you saw this coming, he is among the most voted characters on the poll easy, hopefully he makes it this time Fujin got in with 25 votes, one more than Havik, but pretty close.
Rain
Half God, Half Prince, desired by many, rain was among those characters which was expected to see in MK10, but was no more than just an NPC which still hurts everyone's soul, rain Is among the highest rated characters on the poll with a tota of 26 votes
Human Smoke
The community wants Christopher walken, the second most highly voted character in the poll, and this one was a tough one, because there was a rule which said Smoke by default will be consiered Human Smoke unless robot is specified, this put Smoke higher on the list with 27 votes.
