I stirred up a colossal shitstorm about my main in mk9 because even the actual character mod jumped ship. I want to see that kind of passion about Kenshi, Kitana, or whoever else.

You know why it's shitty if your main is "top tier" on release? Deathstroke is why.
1. Everybody whines so the devs nurfbat the char.
2. High level players get fed up and break down punishment and antitech.
3. Several other examples (coughnightwolfcoughsonyacough) prove that initial hunch-knee-jerk-offs about tier placement are as valid as having an ego because somebody can press buttons well. >.>

Get tech, get "how to kill" vids on the supposed top tiers. Get down to business. Do work.
And shut the fuck up or CompletelyJaded will return.

I find it funny that people quote MK9's lifespan as reason to not jump to any early conclusions. Forget about the fact that we didn't even have frame data for the first year, an incredibly basic training mode, and less than stellar online play.

Fast forward to MKX and we have in game frame data available to all, a much more improved training mode, and even an online dojo when solo practice just isn't cutting it.

The characters in this game WILL be fleshed out sooner. If six months from now people try to go the INJ route and claim "we still don't know" I will be calling all kinds of bullshit.

Six months is definitely enough time to figure stuff out. But 2 weeks? Nah.

I think the game will take at least 2 months to really flesh out, but the meta will probably change until after the last patch.

Sky temple is a hot mess and unplayable whether multiplayer or single player.

I get daily random black screens and freezes on transitions.

The input lag for online play is head smashingly frustrating, though I'm not sure if this has to do with the memory leak/optimization or just netcode... or a combination of both.

hmm stages do give people issues, but that's usually because their PC can't really handle them online. Practice lab is the best stage for online. Random black screens and freezes we all get, too. And yeah, both hahah but the group that I play with all has solid connections and we also know what we're doing, for the most part. If you wanna join us when we play, send your steam name and where you're from (US/EU/etc)

Jungle stage and Destroyed City (past) run at 30fps for me. WIth jungle if i stay in the center and to the far right, I can maintaine 60fps. Every other stage runs at a constant 60fps. Then there are issues with x-rays and fatalities, some of them drop below 30fps. So it looks like a slide show.

My PC:

I run the game at 1680x1050. Dropping the resolution or details to the lowest don't solve any of these issues. While I had no doubts that it wasn't my pc, I had to double check by dropping to the lowest settings just to check. It points to a optimization issue. Others are experiencing the same things as well. I believe Nvidia users have trouble running sky temple, it runs like a slide show even on a geforce titan. While AMD users have trouble with jungle stage and destroyed city (past).

Yeah feel free to add me. I'm qspec on Steam.

That said, the stage issues aren't my computer (I have a fairly strong PC). I'm guessing it is part of the memory leak issue.

On my own, I can avoid them fairly well but online people pick 'random' a lot so you'll end up with a few of those stages some of the time. And then the occasional bad luck situation like the current invasion boss being in Sky Temple (are they all there?) or the invasion tower that has Goro taking reduced damage on Sky Temple... yeah... not a ton of fun.

Can we talk about how fucking hard it is to see on Sky Temple when in the corners in general? If brightness is cranked up the lightning strikes make it so no one can see if not to bright it's to dark, the stage is awful.

With the patch today HOPEFULLY fixing the PC version for the most part I would be interested in such a group.

I remember back when you said you'd learned your lesson from MK9, and Injustice would be different. But it wasn't. I heard the same thing before I came around, too, and I wanted to believe it this time... but really, nothing has changed. Your words were just empty promises.

I feel like I can't breathe. We haven't even been together a month, but I'm already being smothered under a deluge of negativity and complaints about so many of my characters. I realize that you may feel I have certain flaws, but I implore you to spend a bit more time with me before coming to such concrete conclusions.

I can already hear your rebuttal, and you know what, save your breath. "But MKX, we've been together, and I'm already positive that X Y and Z are just awful." Well, TYM, I think that's bullshit. I know you've been with other games before, and you've had that same presumptuous, arrogant attitude. It doesn't suit you, it certainly doesn't serve you well, and you end up completely wrong as often as you end up right.

So could you please drop the condescending, know-it-all attitude, and lets just enjoy our time together right now? Let's go back to your place, get in the lab together, and do some exploring. And if you're really unhappy with your character, how about instead of harping on me, you just move on to another? Step aside and give the dedicated character specialists some time to truly explore me and see they find. It takes months. They're actually grinding it out right now, instead of complaining on the forums.

Anyways, that's all I wanted to say. Look, I think you're awesome. I'd simply appreciate a little time to breathe here before you presume to know everything about me.
