Hey so when mk9 first came out, I really liked Cyrax because he seemed (and was) really really cheap, I like really cheap characters even if they aren't the best. Who is the cheapest feeling character to you?

What is your personal opinion on the clash system, and is saving all your meter on the second round just to clash a good idea, or will you hurt yourself by hoarding it?

ok i know im about to contradict myself but if you could answer this its all ill ask.. is lex in final build (yes pig i know its not that old lol) a tournament viable character.. dont want to spend so much time on him if not worth it

1- Im a Reptile main and Skarlet secondary. Im planning on playing Harley and Raven, how big of an adjustment will that be to my MK characters?

2- Ive used push blocking alot in Skullgirls and find it very effective. How effective is it in injustice and do you find it to be worth the meter?

Okay here is a mechanic question. Why the hell am I always whiffing b3 after doing WW's b113 string? I seldomly get it to connect.

after B+113, follow up with 23, then B+3. So, the combo would be B+113, 23, B+3, etc..


with WW you can cancel normals into her shield stance from lasso and vice versa. In shield stance her meter burn shield toss allows you to continue your combo.

So.. from lasso: B+11~shield stance~meter burn shield toss, 11~lasso stance~lasso spin, 23, B+3, Jumping 3, 23~lasso grab - should be around 50%

MB B+3/F+3 is extremely effective.

You need to find a balance on when to use your meter for things like MB specials, Block Escape, Bounce Cancel, and the clash system. Bad meter management can fuck you with the clash system.. BUT hording your meter for a clash wont help if you end up losing out on damage by not MB in combos, and when you finally clash, your opponent has more or equal meter.

2. Very effective.

Yes, it changes the notations. No, I dont thing there are any shoryuken commands.

2. I mainly play rushdown characters similar to cage, liu and I also love playing cancel characters like Kabal. His NDC cancels are the only reason I have interest in playing him now. Any characters have godlike frame traps/fast normals/cancel pressure like the above i listed?

4. Am I gonna be free in injustice? Should I bother picking it up or should I take the glory of winning MK9 majors when only 20 people show up to play?

1. Faster than Kabal BUT.. no worries, this isnt MK9. Characters can deal with it here.

2. Flash is a super Johnny Cage. Doomsday and batman also have awesome rush down and frame traps.

3. Batman is nearly the same. Only difference is a small damage reduction, and B+23 is -15 on block and the opponent can move before the bomb is planted and explodes.
