Making Proper Adjustments
Facing the same characters online with the same IQ. Every now & then I’ll see a mileena, triborg, subzero, Liu Kang, predator... every Variation of scorpion is easy mode & cheap. Every player that picks scorps does the exact same kombo *yawn*. Or they’ll pick Jason Easy Ass Back Of the Cereal Box Kombos Vorhees. Then if you overcome those two, they’ll pick Kenshi to tele-punish you to death. I’ve beaten these types before but I would like to play other characters that’s in the damn game instead of facing mindless scorpions that YouTube kombo you to death

Git gud? Like this game has ton of options For combos anyway

This game is hard to learn. I just started but everyone I'm facing online either isn't aware there's a block button or it turns into Super Mario Bros where I have to wait for them to finish comboing me before I get to play again. :p

The title says Rant/Complain ... Judging I’m on the wrong thread it seems sorry guys... & I’m not saying it’s impossible to stop or overcome.

Just pick Jason, Goro, FerraT.

They don't put you into much risk, nor give away your turn, at least, not as easy as other characters.

I've been messing around with several characters and I've settled on MoS Ermac and Kano. Jason is such a bullshit character though Every time I see someone pick him I'm like "ohhhhhh here we go" lol!

I don't like guest characters anyway, I think they ruin the vibe of most games, but Jason has certain abilities that seem to undermine the game a little. Maybe it's just cuz I'm new to it and aren't used to dealing with it though.

Why have the chat rooms been down on XBL north america for like 2 months now??? Did Netherrealm give up on the game?

Also to hell with guest characters. Slashers arent fighters. A xenomorph is not a fighter. Maybe predator. And while I love all those movies, they are stupid in this game. The fucking range on Leatherface is idiotic for example.

And Crystalline is a pain in the fuckin ass. (still dont mind fighting him though)

Soon as I see a movie character I lose interest. I’d rather face a jittery scorpion than them.

The worst thing is the general lack of balance. Like ok cool give Leatherface stupid range, but at least don't make him do huge damage, build meter like crazy, cancels, etc. Like there has to be a give and take but NOPE.

This game has a great roster...but you'd never know online. Everyone there plays Jason, Ninjitsu Scorp, GM Sub, or Leatherface. On the rare occasion that I get to play someone who isn't using one of these characters, they're always way way above my level.
