I just want to complain about Kung Jin Bo-what-the-fuck ever. He is OP. They nerfin EB, beefin Mileena. Nerf Kung Jin. This MF got 4-5 hit bail out strings. Even if you block it you still taking a lot of damage. PS, online is ass.

This is kind of a complaint, but there really is no way to reliably anti-air your opponent. Sure, uppercut can work from time to time, but against air kicks you're screwed. I think if you're going to jump, you should have the least priority, and you shouldn't get free attacks because there's no reliable attack to hit someone out of the air.

See, that doesn't really solve the problem. The problem is that the person in the air has more advantage over the person on the ground. If you don't have a "god-given right" to wake up for free, you shouldn't be able to jump in and attack with no repercussions.

Damn MKX feels so much easier to play against people who at least have some damn clue what they are doing and try for combo's etc. I keep getting beaten by the dumbest stuff . Played a possessed Kenshi who literally just spammed teleport NJP I know I should have just dashed out of the way and then punished the whiff now (well that's what I think I should do) but in the moment I get caught up in a "WTF is this guy doing mode" and just end up eating it when trying to press buttons.

Also screw the online input delay that gets me hit by slides and other stupid unsafe moves people just throw out all the time even when I know it's coming but my block decides not to work.

Playing online makes you worse at the game. You get used to doing shit that would be blown up offline. Everytime I try to play online I throw all of my fundamentals out of the window because they don't matter when you're playing online. If you try to use fundamentals online you'll get bodied free, winning online matches depends on who can better adapt to lag and people who abuse that shit lol. such a fucking joke.

Armor move into combo. Low profile. Air to air. Run forward under and trip guard or AA jab into combo.

Exactly this, it's maddening. You try and play the game like a smart person who went to school and got a degree you will get absolutely Rekt. The amount of bullshit in MKX is outstanding, that BS is multiplied by 9000 when you enter the online arena. Stupidity and Lag will body you free unless you give up your brain and play the online way.

But completely disconnecting from the game and causing a disconnect on both you and your opponents profiles? Just take the loss and move on! What I want to know is, if you beat someone and they disconnect at the FINISH screen or the You Win screen, does this still count as a win, or purely as a disconnect? Seems like the players with better records are the ones that frequently do this.

Yup. I play online when I'm home doing homework, trying different shenanigans. Can't take it seriously man, just embrace the rage you have caused to your miserable opponent lol. A lot of them do. As for your question I am not sure, I feel like if you get to the FINISH HIM/HER screen it probably counts as a win/loss but I am not sure. I wouldn't worry about it though, just play and try to enjoy yourself, but I do understand that it can be frustrating when people quit just because they are losing.

People do this so they can get high ranks on the leader boards. Just look at the top 100 and you will see people with shit records being top 25 for whatever reason.

Last night I did something like 30 matches I lost 8 of them but all the wins they quit out everytime so I stopped doing fatalities and faction kills and just d3 them and they still quit....it's annoying.

When going for 25 wins in a row in ranked I believe it was, I got around 3-4 disconnects right at the end of matches, so I didn't count them in the total but after the 21st, 22nd game (actually the 25th) it counted all those disconnects as victories on my end.

So long story short, if they disconnect on you, and it's their fault you take the win. If you didn't take the win they didn't purposely disconnect.

I have never dc'd intentionally but have 14 or so disconnects on my profile from making others quit. If my wins didn't count I would care a little though but not too much - I'm just trying to get better. Some guys take their record a little too seriously on there. I only play "high/good level" players in rooms (normally lurking in the beginner lobbies haha) and just play whatever they give me in ranked. Personal goal was to get inside the top 5K (got to 3.8K) and now I'm working to get into the top 3K. If I can survive the input delay/lag online and improve a bit I'll start venturing out to tournaments.

However, I can 98% of the time read when someone is going to rage quit via pulling or whatever you wanna call it. If I placed bets on it, i'd have a fair amount of money now.

To rub salt in the wounds on pullers, I like to send a screenshot msg on PSN of the fatality or a brutality afterwards to fuel the anger even more for fun. Works wonders I tell you!

I'm starting to think that I bought a Fight Night game by accidents cause uppercut are fucking god tier.
