Well.. I took off for the 25th and 26th. I plan to take the 25th to burn off rust, and learn matchups. TBH.. I stop playing back in June.

Well we'll definitely be glad to have you back in the scene. I'll never complain to have a lot of players and a good local support group. I'm ready to start trying to take my gameplay to new levels and online is just not cutting it. I get some MU experience, but the same tactics just don't work.

Whichever one of you guys is the best will automatically have to become my sensei. I'm not content with the idea of being just alright.

What are you guys' thoughts on the patch? I know I'm pissed that Option Selects are removed. However, Cassie's stand 2 being a mid is a HUGE thing for me, plus they didn't touch SQ D'vorah so that's a plus as well.

As a Mileena and Sonya player: Eh. It's ok. Things could have possibly been worse. It fixed some issues I had in the Kitana matchup so I'm thankful for that. It's early to say, but I guess I like the patch so far

But seriously, OSs kinda hurt my Quan game and the removal of the HKD on b1, 4 in juggles wrecked my safe corner reload tech with Sonya. BUT CASSIE'S S2 IS A MID, TIME TO BRAWL

So I'm thinking about setting up a tourney sometime before the end of the month, and if that one goes well I'll try to do a few more before the year is out. I've probably got around 8-10 people locally that would play. It'd be a chill time and probably be at my house in Northport. I've ran several LAN parties/tourneys before for Halo and other fighters over the past few years, so it should run fairly smooth. What are you guys' thoughts? No problem giving directions to the crib, as long as you're not a rapist. ( ͡° ͜ʖ

I have no problem going to your crib as long as you are not a murderer. As long as it isn't on the 26th (Top Games Get Money Monthly), I'm in! Are we doing a pot, or is it a just for competitive fun type deal? I'm game for either way.

Pot. Probably do a 5 dollar entry, but top 4 would get paid. Even more depending on how many people we got.

Also it would probably be on Xbox, BUT if people actually want to do an additional PS4 tourney and can supply the PS4 and game (with all the characters), then we can do two tourneys.

...I never played a Xbox One before.(My PS4 have all the DLC/Goro) If I know an exact date, I might be able to make it.

I'd be down but need to know well in advance. Would be willing to make it a recurring thing as well.
Tuscaloosa/Northport's a bit of a drive but I'd make it on a biweekly/monthly basis.

You can play games on ANY console for as long as the place is open and it's a cover charge of ten bucks. I spent four hours tuning up my Cassie on ps4 because I had never touched a ps4 controller and it felt really good. Now that I know this place exists I will be going there often. Maybe on a weekend a few of us can round up one day and get some offline casuals in
