The story is that I was raping this dude in a Ranked Match, obviously. I had this guy in the corner most of the game, hitting him with my stupid Batman corner mix-ups / combos and he just had no idea how to block it. He got owned. He had a microphone on the entire time and I heard his expressions over my TV, "Oh my God...what the hell?!" and such. So after the match, I decided to reply by sending him a humble message saying something like, "Good game. That was my funny Batman corner mix-up I came up with, lol. It's kind of weird to block." Then this is the reply I received.
What "community" was I ruining exactly? And am I "taking skill out of the game" by performing combos / mix-ups that he obviously didn't know how to defend against? I just don't understand, lol. I'd gotten a lot of voice messages, hate mail and rage quits (and still accumulating as we speak) but this one's my favorite hate mail so far. I had shown this message to some of my friends and now every time I'm performing corner combos my friends would say, "Hey, man. Stop. You're ruining the community". LMAO.

Yeah? And I guarantee someone of your type would say that anyway if you lost by a pixel because you'll probably have the assumption it's a game you should've won.
Who can't get past it? I send them hatemail and move on in that scenario. It's not like I'm spending minutes dwelling on this type of thing. I get their message and I think, "Oh hell no, fuck you." Then I send hate mail, and I never think about it again. It's not like I'm raging about it.
And he wouldn't have played you 20 games in a row if he thought you weren't worth the effort. Sometimes you'll get dominated, it's going to fucking happen. No need to be biting people's heads off because they're glad you at least made the effort to play with them.
Of fucking course it's going to happen. When you dominate someone, shut your mouth and move on. That's called knowing how to win. Like I said, it's not something I'm raging over or anything significant, but I really don't want to hear it. The same with people trying to coach you up after they beat you. DUDE if I wanted your help I would ask (and I do ask quite often).
Knowing how to win? He's not shoving it in your face. He's not saying "I fucking owned your ass".
Like I said, it's not that big a deal. It's just enough to get me to send some hate mail. If you can't take a little hate mail, maybe your bitchmade? I'd say it to the guy if he was sitting next to me.
The fact that you're sending hatemail to someone who's at the least, appreciative of you playing the game with them or at the most, trying to help you improve at the game is honestly pathetic. I'm not saying it to be a dick or being a hardass. I'm saying, with no bias and as honest as I can. What you're doing is pathetic.

Maybe they're just better players who also had humble beginnings and aren't assholes? You're going to lose to better players, repeatedly, in fact there's likely always going to be a better player out there that's going to stomp your face into the mud. Would you prefer if they responded with "GG" or "LULZ! U FUKIN SUK!"?
