It was 41% formerly, and it's 39% now.
I just tested it.

But I'm wondering, why Jade got a damage nerf?
Too strong for a mid/low tier character? lol.

A virtually unzonable character. Hard to approach. Good combos. Can rush too. Lightning here and there. Of course I'm going to use him.

By the way, 1,2,b+1, jumping kick~d,f+4, 1, b+2,1 still does 34% of damage with Sektor.
 
I'm assuming that this hotfix is out for 360 now as well? The Jade combo mentioned above is the same for me, soo...

Anyways...

Raiden BnB still does 33%, didn't test others.

Sub mid xray BnB does 43% instead of 49% so I think his Xray scales more now (Mid without xray does 30% instead of 32%)
Last I checked raiden's Bnb was minimum 35%

I love how they don't post any patch notes, as if their balancing and tweaking wasn't enough of a joke.

• Reduced some of Kung Lao’s combo and overall damage.
• Reduced the damage on some special moves.
• Increased the damage scaling after Kitana’s Enhanced ground fan toss.
• Adjusted some juggle’s damage scaling.
• Reduced the damage on some basic combos that were doing too much damage without using any meter.
• Increased Sheeva’s damage output for several of her moves and attacks.
• Temporarily Changed around some of Sonya’s fighting style properties to reduce her ability to lock someone down in block stun.
• Changed Kano’s Towards + FK to a low block.
• Reduced the recovery on Kano’s Upball to be closer to Johnny Cage’s Flip Kick recovery.
• Increased the damage of some of Baraka’s special moves and attacks.
• It is easy to juggle combo after hitting someone with Baraka’s chopchop on the ground.
• Increased the damage scaling on a frozen opponent.
• Baraka’s Away + FK FP combo is now a true popup.
• Reduced some of Reptile's combo damage.

Baraka's F+:bp and the last hit of B+:fk:fpF+:fp have been changed to overheads, this wasn't mentioned in the notes.

Are we gonna get reasons behind the scaling? Or at least who the "some combos" that were scaled down belonged to?
 
Todays hotfix was damage buffs for Kano and made online free for PSN users till the store is up.

A patch is coming in a couple weeks and will actually fix quite a few bugs and buff some more characters.

The Bold and colored text is false, Kano has the same damage output in his combos other than a few ones that got a 1% damage nerf do to the global scaling (my best combo use to do 39% now it odes 38%)
 
Why was Jade nerfed yes I'm salty. I don't even like Scorpion or Noob and they don't need to be nerfed, but some how Raiden gets off clean? Cmon NR.........

kung's (on corner) jP :fp:fp:bp xx spin, jK xx Dive (4x), :bp:bk :fp+:fk, :bp did 61% before the patch and now its doing 47%, its a decent nerf, but i think kung lao will still be dominant in this game.*

jP :fp:fp:bp xx spin, njP jK xx Dive, f:fk, Spin was doing 38%, now it does 32%.

jP :fp:fp:bp xx spin, jK xx Dive, :bp xx bf:bp:blk, :fp, :fp, :bp:bk :fp+:fk, :bp from ~48% to 43%

* Hmm, I just noticed that raiden havent beeing nerfed. My opinion is that both chars are tied on top now.

I was expecting more changings in the game's mechanics, imo the damage output of some chars is the lesser of the problems regarding balance.

Right now subzero is just zero against kung lao and raiden, and the problem isnt the damage taken. I was really expecting something like a higher cooldown for kunglao's qcb :bp, nerfs at certains chars uppercut's startup, movement speed nerf, something like that.

btw, any information about the netcode fix?

I'm testing Smoke right now and my bnb is doing MORE damage than it did before (was 43% is now 45%)

what gives?

This shit really makes me scratch my head.

IMO the damage was fine for the most part with a couple of exceptions. Frames are what need to be tweaked not damage.
