Viewership for this tourney is an all time low

I hate to say this as an NRS loyalist...but this game is losing peoples interest at a record pace. Tournaments viewership is already low AF, Twitch viewership is terrible with popular NRS streamers only averaging around 150 viewers(and "pros"/tournament players rarely even stream anymore), on XBox there are about 4-18 people in rooms in prime USA hours(yeah, I know it's XBox, but still should be doing better). For a game that came out in 2017, this shit is unreal.

I'm going to be completely honest, didn't even know TFC was going on this past weekend. Saw no promotion from NRS and didn't really see anyone talking about it on social media. Also seems the event itself was hardly promoted, only 58 entrants for Injustice 2?

No it wasn't, there were some really great sets there. Also the Joker cosplay guy with Kitana Prime was funny as hell.

In addition to the things you guys are mentioning, TYM char forums and discord is completely DEAD. MKX was good until 50 different versions of the game muddied the forums but they were at least active. MK9 and I1 tym character forum days were amazing.

Its almost impossible to rely on the current character forum and discord to learn characters. I think this kind of goes in line.

What's interesting to me that the game that had the least patches, was more unbalance, and was at more Evo then all the other games was MK9. I wish some of you new guys would have seen how the forum and community was like during that time.

I've been watching NRS streams since MK9, I have been on this forum since 2011, and I am a premium member. I can't control what people do on here besides myself. As a fan of Midway/NRS games I can state out the facts that I've seen and this isn't the first time I seen a decline in the games since the 3D era.

If there an issue or concern the players and fans can state it. It's not just happening in this FGC community it's with others as well. Not sure why you are getting upset about what we posted?

Because no one can say how many viewers TFC had last year, or even watched it. No one talked about the results. And no one cared.

But this year, it fits the "omg no viewers" narrative, so now it's suddenly being pushed as part of the "Omg no viewers this year" conversation, when that makes no sense.

And furthermore, most of the people complaining did not Tweet the stream out, host it on their Twitch channel, or do anything to aid the viewership. Half of them didn't even watch, and yet they're still here complaining. Again, that is not how you grow a scene.

Sorry I don't keep records and data of the viewership for the past 6 years. But I have notice that the viewership has decline at a rate for this game compared to the past games. Not only for just streamers but tournaments. This is going off how new this game is and comparing it to the numbers of other fighting games that are streaming.

This is the first time I said something about this and its me complaining?

I also find it funny that I don't get called out for "How are you going to help grow the scene instead of complaining" when I stated my concern about other games in the other forum section but it's not ok when I do it for the first time with an NRS game.
