I and most of us disagree. PL is one of the best at this game and it shows.

Don't get me wrong PL is a solid player, but he would not have made as far if he played against Nivek, Foxy, or Reo before losers semis. Him losing to Nivek in the fans choice invitation says enough.

Only reason I would say this is still a L to PL because his thought was that ESL was worth more than traveling to other tournaments. He could have made up to 5k or more winning at Combo Breaker, ECT, or CEO.

Yeah he basically made as much money as winning a major I think. (without pot bonuses I guess.)

That's a really big L considering how hard he was focusing on his "seeding".

That doesn't change the situation of Pig playing REO vs. Pig playing Foxy -- I think Foxy was a better draw for him.

Regardless of whether Foxy beats or doesn't beat REO, that wouldn't affect the matchup against Pig.

I actually think Pig himself would have preferred not to play Kung Lao, a match-up he had struggled with for 3 months.
