Another reason to believe in the KP2.

I hope we'll get some info in the near future. And, hey, NRS, I don't think that "Story Pack" is the best idea. We got a lot of characters from MK9 in the latest game. DLC is a great chance to add some characters from MK4-MKA period. Shawn Kittelsen makes a great job with his comic book. Maybe, you can add Reiko and Havik. A lot of people need Fujin, Sareena. One guy from MK9 (Smoke or anybody else), this is enough. And say "No" for guest characters in the KP2. You can sell guest characters separately.

I watched the video and it's interesting. I think Ed's tweets have pointed to they will release another KP but I don't know if it would be smart to release just Story mode characters. Don't get me wrong, I would love a playable Rain, Sindel and Baraka but I think it would be a better idea to release that pack just before an ULTIMATE MKX is announced so (optimistically) at least the third KP pack. KP2 should definitely include Fujin. It would be offensive if he wasn't in it. Throw Sareena a bone too considering people apparently love her so much. Then two other characters from MK4-Armageddon (hopefully Kai and Havik).

Also, why does the guy think DLC characters are "free money"? They still need to pay people to flesh them out as viable player characters.

Ed has me so jaded. I feel like him linking to a video that says "Most likely Rain, Sindel, and Baraka" are just as good as deconfirmations for all 3.

But if they introduce a guest character in a Kombat Pack it could be an incentive for people to buy the pack in the future.

I hope if they do bring Baraka back, that they add to his story via intro dialogues and the tower ending to give him something unique. Something beyond generic Tarkatan #234.

Maybe. But if somebody wants only a guest character, he can buy him separately. So there isn't any reason to buy the KP2. For example, I am a casual guy, I don't need Fujin, Smoke and Sareena, but they add Freddy. I say: "Screw you guys, $30. I can buy only my Freddy".

They can make things in another way. Add Fujin, Smoke, Reiko, Havik and 20 skins for new characters (maybe, classic arenas too...). At the same time, release a guest character separately. Freddy (or somebody else) can be free for PS360 and $5 for another versions.

I suppose it's situational. Some peole could want everyone in the pack (guest included), except for one. The might as well buy the pack because it would work out cheaper than not buying the pack. So if they have characters sepereate, it would hurt sales figures of some of the DLC characters and they want to look good with the figures so that they can release a lot DLC.

If they were, I think he'd be a lot more complimentary toward the upcoming new movie. Seems like a weird idea to dog on the franchise if you're about to do a big collaboration.

I also just generally think D'Vorah wouldn't have an Aliens-inspired chestburster brutality if the actual xenomorph was coming.
