Strategy The Cyrax Combo Thread

I need to practice this highlighted part alot. Do you feel like this is a difficult combo to pull off or can you get it most of the time?

Well, I havent practiced combos with robot cyrax in a while. The combos are fairly new so I guess its up to us to determine whether they are viable or not in a tournament setting. I havent seen anyone land the reverse uppercut stuff consistently yet.

are you dashing under the bomb after the reset to get the b2 after turning around or are you dashing backwards (away from the bomb)? I found that dashing backwards is easier for me.

The command grab is definitely guaranteed after combos ending with a second net in the corner. I was able to try it during some offline games today. I even grabbed Kung Lao out of his spin and Raiden out of his teleport. This is really dumb lol...he needs it

I try to dash forward I think, idk. It's a tough combo tho

So you start with 121 xx Net, then you do either a teleport or a whiffed ragdoll under them (whichever builds most meter). That puts you behind them, so you can do EN Bomb > Far Bomb > 121 xx Close Bomb > Net for reset. After that just wait until they pass over you, and you can do the exact same followup (NJP > Uppercut > 121 xx Net > B2 > 33 xx Ragdoll)

Altogether it is:

Jump Punch, 121 xx Net > Whiff Ragdoll/Tele > EN Bomb > Far Bomb > 121 xx Close Bomb > Net(Reset) for 37%

plus

NJP > Uppercut > 121 xx Net > B2 > 33 xx Ragdoll for 44%

for a total of 81%


The timing is really easy too.

I'll try to record a video, but I don't have my equipment anymore.

So it looks like you can do the same thing after B2 > Net in the corner. Is there a better reset after a straight B2 in the corner?

id use 121 ex saw 121 net b2 33 saw its around 40%

also heres a corner combo from Wonder_Chef 's vid , 121 net teleport , 3 ex bomb, far bomb , 121 close bomb , net , step back uppercut , 121 ex net , b2 , 121 net , (command grab or chip ) it does a good chunk of damage around 90% ish wit d command grab

heres some corner stuff , after 212 , you have several options here u can d3 , d4 , 33 , buzzsaw , net ,
the thing is noone expects u to corner yourself , usin 33 aa throw or d4 aa throw , i just found dat u can combo after 33 ragdoll wit either 121 , 1 , 33 ... 121 does most damage but 1 into 33 net is safer as u can block if u miss the 1 . a set up ive been tryin is 212(18%) , 33 aa throw(7%) , 33 ragdoll 121 net , jump in kick 121 saw ( 39%) wot u guys think i feel this could catch people off guard ,

Hmm...i'm using this...
EX Buzzsaw - 2, 1 - 1, 2, 1 / Net - B2 - 3, 3 / Net for around 35%
You could replace B2 with a deep jump kick or fake it for pressure/mixups/vortex

The one I use is jip 21~net, crossover jip 21~ex bomb, b2 (second hit only), far bomb, 121~close bomb, net (reset), njp, b2, 2, 121~net, 33~net = 83% plus guaranteed chip or command grab mixup.
Or if you dont want to put your back to the corner...
jip 21~net, jip 21~ex bomb, b2 (second hit only), close bomb, 33~net (reset), njp, b2, 2, 121~net, 33~net = 75% plus guaranteed chip or command grab mixup.
You could increase the damage on these by using uppercuts if your a pro

a Commando grab set ups. I use all of cyrax combos. Did you notice how some people duck after a commando grab??? Welll, in this video it will show you what to do if it happens to you.
